Being disabled and chronically is simply so weird sometimes in comparison to the lives of able bodied people. Dynamic disabilities and episodic disorders tend to be the most shocking to able bodied people and a lot of reactions are really ableist but sometimes it can be very entertaining.
I find it especially funny because i oftentimes don't even realize how ridiculous my life is because i live in a family of disabled people and according to my best friend there's just so much "cursed family lore"
For me it's one of my more annoying symptoms but i have so many that are just so much more debilitating but telling healthy people that oh yeah my legs decided to paralyze like an hour ago the reaction is very much "omg go to the ER?!" And yeah actually that is very reasonable but my body just does that sometimes and it doesn't really stress me out anymore and that all leads to people being horrified and i should probably not find it that funny but oh well. There's worse coping mechanisms.
My life is ridiculous and sometimes i take joy out of that
