Despite the pause screen on YouTube being absolutely perfect for this exact moment, I want to share with y’all NewRockstars being hilariously awesome as always. Eric Voss narrates:

These two are the absolute worst offenders when it comes to reviewing/breaking down media made for and geared towards women. Especially Agatha All Along.

The details I caught that weren't addressed by this New Rockstars video (which probably means they aren't worth mentioning, because Eric Voss does waaaaaaay more homework than I do):

Sol discovers the twins under the bunta tree, but only Mae uses the Thread/Force while he's watching them.

When Sol sneaks into the witches' fortress, he spies on Aniseya's "The power of one, the power of two" lesson, but again Mae is the only twin he witnesses using the Thread/Force.

When the Jedi interrupt the Ascension ceremony and demand that the twins be tested to measure their Padawan potential, Aniseya says, "The scouts will bring Osha to your camp at midday" and Sol insists, "Both girls. Her sister, too." (Interestingly, Sol's lines are included in "Destiny" but not in "Choice." If "Destiny" is Osha's recollection of those events, why does she remember Sol wanting to test Mae, while "Choice," being the events from the Jedi point of view, leaves that part out?)

So when and why does Sol become so fixated on making Osha his Padawan? She could be a Muggle,* for all he knows about her! Did he just pick the twin who seemed more vulnerable/malleable/receptive? Was his insistence on testing Mae a smokescreen, or was he genuinely concerned for/interested in both girls? Are these clues or just sloppy writing?

*Or a Squib, if we're being technical like that.

In the middle of the big Endgame battle, when it looked like all hope was lost, I was convinced that Wanda was about to squeeze her eyes shut and whisper “More heroes” -- and that was how Kevin Feige would shock the world and introduce the X-Men into the MCU. But if I can’t have a reverse House of M, I guess Project Exodus and “Cap, on your left” works too.
