okay so hear me out. what if not only Kalaya is still alive, but Soft and Stone are also alive and seeking refuge with her. We know for a fact that the citadel has no way of finding Kalaya, which means that she cannot be traced through magical means, at least not through any magical means that are at the disposal of the citadel, and we also know that Soft freed her and several other spirits from the art gallery, so they at least knew each other on some level, but also that means Kalaya could have also been considered to be indebted to Soft. So it would make sense that if they survived but were not in a position where they could safely return to the citadel and Suvi, that they may have sought sanctuary with an ally who could hide them from the most powerful arcane power on Umora
