Tell me Delta Slim ain't un hijo de Eleggua or maybe Eleggua himself. Stack and Sammie meet him at a train station -- a crossroads -- and he's wearing black/white wingtips, he's the first person in the movie to take a drink of alcohol, he's planning to play at MESSENGERS, he swings back and forth between aggressive/playful, he's got the lore and tradition that he passes along to Sammie.

So, I hope it's not just me. When I was watching TR:LoLC season 2 for the first time, during episode 2, when Lara and Sam drink the sea water to get the answers or something like that and Lara has a vision, Sam says: "All I saw was a chicken", for some god damn reason my dumbass brain thought Sam is gonna be turned into a chicken at some point, at least for a while. Especially after they say that Eshu has the ability to do so(beginning of episode 3). Only after watching the entire thing I realized how wrong I was. I think it was a silly idea though
