enara maria felicia fonseca bautista my beloved <3 a dr.agon a.ge oc i wrote initially for a campaign that takes place somewhere between acts of the second game, she's the half elven bastard child of an antivan merchant prince and the only heir to his dying trading company. she was forced into an arranged marriage she did not want, so immediately after knocking out her brand new husband with a flowerpot, she ran to the docks, stowed away on a ship and ruh roh! turns out they're pirates! so what's a girl to do except tell the captain he'd be stupid to turn down someone willing to work and literate in 3 languages, so now she's a pirate hording as much gold as she can get her hands on to buy her way out of her unwanted marriage.

hey chey remember being like a 16 y/o and being in fandom stuff where everyone just enjoyed crazy ships and 78 different aus and you and every other dumb teen just went nuts for smut and read it on the downlow and it wasn't a big deal and everyone regardless of age was respectful of your space and there was never any inappropriate cross of boundaries? what happened to that. why do I have to be scared to write romance between aged-appropriate characters.

i blame our current political climate getting people riled up......... I know its hard to stay calm when things are falling apart around you so with the self-centered tenancies of social media combined with so much tension it just makes people so mean

I love how marichat is the most platonic (though i am definitely NOT saying that they're just friends if you know what i mean) of the love square, because there isn't any sort of awkward crush getting between them and there isn't any kind of social barriers. Chat just pops up and is a dork and Marinette doesn't judge him, just feeds him cookies and makes sure to tuck away any loos threads from her work because girl, she is not making THAT mistake again

But I also love how ladrien is gonna be soooo awkward. They're both gonna be stuttering wrecks because of their two ginormous crushes clogging up their voiceboxes. And I seriously doubt their whole relationship is going to develop much in this respect because Marinette doesn't want to disrespect Adrien's privacy by going to visit him as Ladybug, so if they interact there's gotta be an akuma, in which case Adrien's gonna be looking for a hiding place to transform in and Ladybug's gonna be fighting, so it's not exactly like they can talk much
