Audience: I hate it when writers confirm things on social media rather than in the story itself. You didn’t state that explicitly in the writing, and I didn’t pick up on any hinting, so therefore it’s bad representation of the thing and bad writing. Heteronormativity and white defaultism are concepts that exist only in theory and I could never have any unconscious biases that would influence my interpretation of media.
