Beautiful wood nymph (Eudryas grata) whom I had mistaken as poop. Someone on Instagram said he looked like a slice of cake, too. LOL
It’s amazing how I’ve lived here all my life and keep discovering new creatures.
Blue dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis). Someone on Instagram noted that it was a female but I think it’s a juvenile because the female has no blue on her abdomen.
This red admiral (Vanessa atalanta) seems to be enjoying the lantanas (Lantana camara).
Swamp darner. A first for me.
A fuzzy boi I one day found at work. Him so FLUFFY!!!
Scary-looking creature. Was told it’s a female dobsonfly.
Edit: Yeesh, I just looked up the males and they’re even scarier!!!
A damselfly.
