ok don't get mad but i don't really like babs that much but i really wanna get into her character and her comics bc she seems so cool (i just hate dickbabs as a ship and the fandom (sorry in advance if you like the ship)) and ik you love her character so i was hoping you'd have some recommendations? i hope i didn't offend you or anything, i swear that wasn't my intention- you can obviously just ignore this if you want to!
hi! im glad youre at least trying to get into her character :) babs in general is a kinda hard character to read for just because she pops up all over the place, especially in post-crisis, and she doesnt really have a solo to go based off of like some of the other characters. and i will say some of the comics im suggesting have dickbabs (especially ones published after 2000) since they were together, i was kinda neutral on them before i started reading more of their older comics so maybe you'll change your mind ! this is also not a complete list, and also only post-crisis, but hopefully its stuff thats best for someone getting into her character :))

birds of prey 1999 (its superrr long, but its a fantastic insight into babs, esp how she interacts with her agents like black canary, and later on huntress, lady blackhawk, misfit, etc.)
i'd also put no man's land here! its also a very long event, and its not that babs focused, but you see a lot of interactions between her and people like bruce, tim, jean paul valley, helena, and later on cass and the beginnings of their dynamic.
and surprise surprise, but id also say batgirl 2000, shes not in every issue since it is cass's solo, but you do see a lot of babs grappling with trying to 'raise' cass, her clashing with bruce, her own feelings about being batgirl, etc.
