EVERIN EPISODE

(Idk what to call this tbh. ps this is not proofread so pls try to ignore the errors)

The last day of the Fate season 31st of Evernight month and the death anniversary of Thalia, Everins mother and the true princess of the Hyperboria empire.

The girl was on her knees infront of the yellowed paper with a somewhat amateur drawing of her mother. the dark blue curtains were drawn with only a sliver of kephales light peeking through. Countless flowers of white and gold carefully arranged around the golden frame of the drawing and the thick candles gave the room a yellowish hue.

“mama…oh mama… how many years have gone though, was it 900?…1000? im not sure anymore… time really flies you know..”-she chuckled bitterly, glossy eyes looking down at her fidgeting hands.

“when will you come back mama… Im still all alone, I have food on the table and a roof over my head… but the warmth… the love of youre embrace is gone”-a few tears fall from her eyes, even if she tries holding them back her throat burns trying to shove down all those emotions.

“I miss you ma-“

the hardwood floor creeks behind her, slow footsteps approach, slow and steady. The figure comes closer the closer until hes standing beside Everin. Phainon, the golden boy of Amphoreus and the core of Rins frustration and jealousy.

In her eyes he was a man with everything. A chrisos heir, with the looks to kill and a personality like an angel carved from marble by Kephale THEMSELVES. He was sickly sweet, treating everyone with kindness and helping with all he could…and most important part he did this with pure love for the people and not to get something out of them.

This was why Everin was so jealous of him to the point of annoyance and hate… just how could anyone love this ugly humanity with their whole heart… look at people and see not animals who do anything for a peace of gold, but creations of gods who spread kindness in the world.

“Is this your mother?”-said the man with a sheepish smile while Everin looked at him stunned. This was a private room of mourning, how or why did he come here.

“shes really beautiful…just like you you know… Im sure she was a great woman”-Phainon continued with his head up, as if proud that he was consoling a thorny rose.

“…and Everin… youre not alone, Im sure there are plenty of people around you for example m-

he didnt finish the sentance before a loud slap echoed in the small marbled room.

the man stumbled a few steps back completely stunned.

“mind your own damned business…”-Evering whispered with her voice trembling, eyes full of humiliation and anger.

“NO ONE ASKED FOR YOUR CONDOLENCES OR HELP!” - she screamed hoarsely one last time before storming out of the room.

(A.N. as you can tell my cutie Everin is kinda insecure when it comes to phainon. Shes jealous of people who can love purely and with all her heart, which is why she believes that if she shows herself as somebody with no problems or mistakes shes going to be loved like that too one day. in her opinion nobody loves people who have too many troubles or bring too many problems, because of this she doesn’t really tell anyone about her past, her mother or connection to Cerydra.)
