鮮やかで見ているだけで元気になれる、麦わら帽子のような形がかわいらしいヘリクリサム（麦藁菊）。 ヘリクリサムの正式な学名「Helichrysum」はギリシア神話の太陽神を表す「Helios」とギリシャ語で金色を意味する「chrysos」から由来し、美しく輝く太陽のような花姿を名称になったようです。

The display of small, white everlasting flowers of Anaphalis triplinervis (triple-nerved pearly everlasting) contrast with the upright stems of Calamagrostis × acutiflora 'Karl Foerster' (feather reed-grass). Anaphalis is an herbaceous perennial with white-woolly stems bearing greyish-green leaves with white-felted beneath, it will thrive in moist, well drained soils but dislikes winter wet.
