“I. Miss. My. Mety. And. I. Am. Absolutely. Not. Wishing.” Magolor grumbled, as he looked at the dark blue and starry sky—at midday—like it personally offended him.

“MAGS! It’s spring here and you didn’t tell me?!” Everly started, but softens her tone as she saw a look of longing from Magolor. In order to keep him from wishing, (as she, Magolor, Celebi and Dialga all agreed on keeping an eye on each other’s backs to prevent the others from wishing while that sky was still in their world) she went out of the room… and returned a few minutes later

She returned with Gracideas, Pop Flowers, and some lavenders. In a bouquet.

“Here. Think of it as a little springtime present. And, yes. The entire ‘wish’ thing. And your missing Mety.”

“Heh. Thanks, Ever. Also, I have a little something for you too…” Magolor lifted a hand and attached a ribbon on top of one of the Sylveon’s bows. “It’s a sunflower. A ribbon one.”

“Why?”

“Because you’re just like one. Seeing the light when no one else can.”

Everly (2015) Dimension Films - Dir. Joe Lynch

Fighting back after four years as a yakuza sex-slave, a woman (Salma Hayek) matches wits and weaponry with a legion of killers who are out to collect the bounty on the heads of her and her family on Christmas Eve.

I love this movie. It’s brutal, action-packed, heartwarming, tragic, and hilarious. I watch it every Christmas season.
