Another anthology! Hope I like it more than the first one.
"Where All Paths Lead"
We learn the backstory of the alternate Buffy our Buffy met in the Hellmouth. Her universe has a few differences (notably that Buffy is gayer) but it's close enough to our universe to hunt for a solution. And as can be imagined from the original story, this Buffy will not be the one to achieve it, no matter how hard she fights.
It's fine. It felt a little heavy-handed to me, and I didn't connect to Buffy's journey that much.
"The Hilot of 1910"
Matay is a medicine woman visiting a village, which has been beset by monstrous murders. She sets off to find the beast behind it, but what else will she find?
The watercolor art is very nice, and I like the perspective of the supernatural outside of a European perspective.
"The Sisters of Angelus"
The Slayer of Dublin in 1947 has a friend disappear, and she sets out to find her.
Very good. Delves into the psychology of a Slayer who's not a main character like Buffy, and has some creative spins on the lore to boot.
