no one is going to know what I mean here but I love the irresistible pull that the specific way the singer says "Yours is the glory" in the original recording of What A Beautiful Name has on worship leaders
Re-reading the Factions graphic novel, I found a fun thing...
Here’s an idea: revamp a normal trope. Everyone knows about the male hero who gets the girl, the dainty schoolgirl who plays by the rules find a group who doesn’t play by the rules, the cultured lady in tight blue Victorian-era clothes falling in love with the young, clumsy butler who stands out against the harumphing arranged-marriage husband-to-be. It’s been done a million times, and with good reason: It makes cash. Every once in a while, though, you see that diamond in the rough, where that deviation from the norm makes for a fantastic breath of fresh air the world takes by storm. Who would have thought My Little Pony would handle adult themes like war and politics or a hunchback gypsy orphan would save the damsel only to lose her to the shining knight?
It may work, it may not work, but any story can be a good one as long as it’s told well. Take a trope, put a spin on it or flip the idea upside down! Maybe there’s something you’ve been wanting to see that writers just don’t seem to get?
do you have any advice on how to deal with the urges to look at an ex's social media a lot?
I’d try to focus on the motivations behind why you’re looking in on them in the first place. Like, are you feeling lonely? Sad? Jealous? Angry? Hurt? Nostalgic? Then figure out ways to counteract those feelings instead. That way you nip this in the bud quicker and have no more need for distractions. At least with your exes. lol
I love living by myself. Nobody there to catch me talking to myself
