What he was doing was wrong. He knew that. If he was caught, it would be a big problem. But he just couldn’t help himself. He stared down at this phone, scrolling through the minimal texts he had with you that morning talking about how you really wanted a cup of coffee and how under the weather you were feeling at the time.
If he got sick in the middle of a comeback, it would put not only himself in trouble but everyone else in the group. He was starting to have second thoughts about the whole situation as the he sat in the back of the uber. He checked the mask that was firmly situated over his face and settled further back into the seat.
His phone pinged again and he wasted no time to look at his phone. You had messaged him again about how you were feeling colder than usual in your apartment. Yes, you were definitely getting sick. He could read that clearly in your texts. And yes, he was going to risk it all to bring you a bit of comfort.
The uber stopped a block from your apartment. He popped into the small pharmacy and picked up some things to try and alleviate any possible illness as well as tissues and some magazines in case you do get sick. Afterwards, he stopped into the coffee shop and got you your usual order. All of that coupled with the soup he picked up for you, he felt he had covered his bases.
His heart was in his throat as he made his way up to your apartment. It took him three attempts to knock on your door, wimping out each time until the fourth time when he knocked almost erratically. He heard you shuffling inside your apartment, heading towards the door. He tugged the mask under his chin, feeling his weight shift from one foot to the other.
You opened the door, ready to give whoever the iciest side of your personality for disturbing your relaxing day off when your face softened in shock.
“R-rowoon what are you doing here?” You asked softly, in disbelief.
“I...I was worried about you. I brought you somethings.” He pushed the bags towards you. You grasped the coffee from his teetering hands before tugging him inside by the coat sleeve.
“Does anyone know you came?”
“No. I just sorta left.” You blinked at him in bewilderment.
“I know I know. I just, I felt bad. I was worried. You sounded so needy in your texts and your roommate isn’t home to keep an eye on you so I wanted to be there for you.”
