Inhale Courage Exhale Fear . This is so much easier said than done at times! 🤔 . God's Faithful Love Never Ends

Lamentations 3:22-23

"We are still alive because the Lord’s faithful love never ends. Every morning He shows it in new ways! You are so very true and loyal! I say to myself, “The Lord is my God, and I trust him.”(ERV)

Lamentations 3:22-23 was the "Verse of the Day" on the YouVersion App yesterday and something about the ERV translation spoke to me when I read it. I don't know about you, but I have “smooth sailing” days and tough days. The days where I take time to spend time with Jesus are sweeter than those where, for whatever reason, I didn't get that time with Him. I chose the picture above, because it made me think that each morning and everyday and everywhere we go, God is shining down bright new blessings along our path. I know that if it weren't for God's loyalty and the endless faithful love He shows me every day (in so many little ways), that I would struggle so much more through the tough days. Give your tough days to God and let Him love and help you through them!

I like this quote from LiveLifeHappy and it felt like it tied in with today’s verse. Isn’t it so easy, after a bad day, to carry it over into the next day? The enemy will so happily help with that, he wants us to NOT forget anything we felt didn’t go well, because he wants to steal our joy. (John 10:10) He’ll whisper that this person didn’t like what we said or that person didn’t like what we did, or we messed up even if IT IS NOT TRUE! Chances are, no one thought anything and we didn’t mess up as bad as we thought, but it may still haunt us the next day. God wants us to "love life happy, not dwelling on a yesterday that can't be changed. Instead, He invites us to live in the “now”, take one day at a time (Matthew 6:34); to forget the past and live for the goal of eternal life with Him. (Philippians 3:13-14) (I chose a butterfly picture below, because butterflies have always signified to me a fresh new day.) PRAYER: Thank You Lord, for the gift of a fresh new start each morning IN YOU. Without You we can do nothing (John 15:5) but with You we can do all things (Philippians 4:13) because You will give us the strength for each new day. Please help us to forget what happened yesterday and not let it spoil our today, as we work towards a forever life with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
