Beyond Light got me like

I have a date! October 6th the smoke damage cleaners will clean the house! Six people start on the house at 8 AM and will be working all day - cleaning the roof, the gutters, and everything inside. They told me what items I need to trash and what they can clean.

The carpets will still need to be replaced/the floor installed after that, but they will be cleaning the entirety of the surface of the carpet and so short term contact/living in the house for a few days before all of the other stuff happens shouldn’t be a big deal. And when they start doing the floors I’ll just have to sleep in my car on my property for a few days.

I’m going to attempt some fic writing tonight after dinner but woo! Inside things and away from people time coming back next week!
