Ruby is evil but loves Weiss Blake and Yang(Pollination but no enabler, she loves yang as a sister)
“Is Beacon ready?”
“As ready as it’ll be for you and the rest of your team,” Ruby said into her scroll as she looked at the chess piece on the screen. “I’m still not sure this is going to work the way we want it to, but Ozpin seems to trust me right now. If we’re going to make this work, I might have to keep getting in Roman’s way.”
“And it’ll be all worth it, Ruby,” Cinder said, her voice calm and collected over the speaker of the scroll. “Do what you have to in order to keep Ozpin busy. Even if you do have to stop Roman or the White Fang, I’ll adjust the plan accordingly. After all, we only have to wait for the tournament to start.”
“Alright, I’ll wait for my orders then.”
“I’ll contact you when we’re ready for the next phase.”
Ruby watched as the call ended and sat down in the chair next to her desk. Getting into Beacon had been a lot easier than expected with the way everything panned out, though now that she was here and started to gain attention from Ozpin and the other professors, she was starting to get concerned that everything would go up in smoke. She hated the idea that Cinder’s plan hinged on Roman and the White Fang doing their jobs and for her to keep Ozpin distracted. One false move and everything would fall apart.
“Ruby, Are you in here?” Weiss asked as she opened the dorm door. “We’re getting ready to head out to town.”
“I’ll be ready in just a few minutes.”
Weiss slowly walked in. “We’re going to be late for our date.”
“I know I know, I had a few things to take care of.” Ruby quickly rushed to the closet and changed her clothes for the outing. “Blake and Yang meeting us there?”
“You know how they are. Once they start showing affection, its easier to let them go off on their own so they dont smother you.”
“Dont I know it. And… you’re sure you’re okay with Blake since she has… you know…” Ruby mimed cat ears above her head. “I know you dont exactly have the best thoughts on faunus-”
“I’ll be fine.” Weiss sighed and leaned against the wall of the dorm. “After the… yelling match we had a couple days ago, I realized I may have… overreacted.”
“May have?”
Weiss rolled her eyes. “But, it doesnt matter anymore. I’m going to give her a chance and see what we can do to get along.”
Ruby smiled at Weiss, then frowned as her scroll chimed with a text. Her frown quickly went to a look of annoyance at a text from Yang mentioning the White Fang were at the docks trying to steal dust. “Dammit Roman,” She quietly whispered to herself.
“What was that?” Weiss asked.
“Blake and Yang seemed to have found trouble. We should go help them.” Ruby waited for Weiss to run off before texting Cinder that she was going to get involved with Roman to keep herself from any suspicions. With a heavy sigh, she grabbed her weapon and started to rush out after Weiss. “Just a few more months, and then Roman will be out of my hair.”
