Ducktales Crossover Fanfic: The Lost Mc. Duck Part 9:

This is a more au story based off of @kristyavson​, @kristyavsonhero2 and @eclipsewarrior101​ gene and Green Eggs & Ham. This Au is a mix between Ducktales Gene au and Anastasia with a cartoon crossover.

So in this chapter Gene has a sweet dream that turns into a dark nightmare. this chapter will be a bit dark and scary. this does mention death and destruction. 

Merlock and Mgica watched Gene sleep in his bed soundly and came up with a wicked plan. 

Merlock: Oh look at him so peaceful...so defenseless

Magica: Haha...if he can’t be brought to us then lets let go to him

Magica conjures a spell to send strange bats into the room. 

Magica: go my pets...be the pied piper and bring him to us

the creatures flew around the room and went to gene who felt a strange aura around him but soon felt peaceful and calm. He opened his eyes but they were clouded with green smoke and he saw he was in a field in a forest with flowers and plants. he saw butterflies who were calling to him and he followed them quietly. he had no clue that he was following bats and he walked right out the door down the halls.

He wandered around and say a group of boys who were he didnt recognize but wore different color outfits. they called to him hauntingly

Boys: Gene gene...come play with us. 

He followed them unaware he was on the deck of the boat in the rain and the storm was strong. 

the storm was rocking the boat back and forward and at one point it got so bad it threw sam who slightly turned over in his bed to fall out of the bed and yelp loudly. the thud and yelp was so loud that it awoke guy who grumply turned to sam

Guy: (half asleep) Sam, Gene...you okay...

Sam: (who just sat up) it’s just me sam guy and I’m fine briefcase buddy..i just fell, the storm is sure strong. ( he steadies himself as he gets up) Hope we can get out of this storm soon.

Guy: it sure it, i really hope soo or we will be up all...(he looks over at genes bed and notices something it seems...empty) Sam wheres gene

Sam: (looks over and laughs non worried) oh he’s right here guy (he walks over to show guy) see right here safe and...(he touches the bed...but no gene. he turns on the light to see the kids gone) Umm Guy... he’s not here...

they hear a knocking and see the door wide open.they look at eachother with horror

Both: GENE

they both get up and run out the hallway to search for the kid. 

Gene follows the boys down a trail in the woods as they play and have fun. when in reality gene is on the side of the boat getting wet with rain.

Guy and Sam go to the deck and frantically call out Gene’s name. they search and search. until far off they see him walking towards the back of the ship. 

Sam: GENE...GENE

Guy: i think somethings wrong come on we have to help him. 

Gene walks down the trail some more until he sees a house far off in the distance. it opens and two figures see him and call to him

Both: Gene..gene come home gene

Gene still in the trance follows their voices as the boys pull him along. 

Sam and guy race after him and when they finally catch up to him and about 100 feet away they see a dark menacing portal and they see bat like creatures pulling him towards it.

Guy: GENE..GENE STOP 

Sam: No GENE...wake up..wake up

Gene suddenly hears voices that are familiar and he stops and turns, sam and guy see genes eyes are clouded with green mist. 

Gene then turns to the couple and the house but to his horror it changes to a dark forest with red and black. it looks all dead inside. he gets scared and sees the couple turn into monster. 

monster 1: Come here you brat

monster 2: yes join us...come here

both: come here you brat. come here genie wanna be. come here you can’t escape you brat. 

gene tries to run but the butterflies turn into demon bat like creatures and trip him making him fall to ground. the demons grab his arms, feet and clothes and try to drag him towards the portal that now looks like to gene a monsters mouth. gene begins to scream and cry as he tries to fights back. they scratch and bite him as he fights back and screams.

Gene: NO NO NO...HELP HELP ME. PLEASE ANYONE HELP

All around him he sees things that make no sense but scare him, like flooded kingdoms, death, slight blood, volcanoes erupting, melting burned cities. war and a dark menacing figure who calls to him. 

Sam and guy see the attack and run into action. Guy grabs a plank of wood and swings it at the beasts, while sam grabs gene who is still in the trance sleep. with a few tugs and help from guy they pull gene free.

He kicks and struggles in their grip as they try to wake him. they turn to see the dark portal closing and can hear angry shouts. 

Guy and Sam holds gene who is kicking and crying while he and sam try to wake up gene. 

Sam: Gene, gene. come on kid, wake up its okay., come on wake up...

Guy lightly shakes gene: Gene...GENE come on...wake up....

After a few moments Gene’s eyes open and he looks around frantically and in a panic begins talking

Gene: the spell, a wish... a great evil a great evil....i keep seeing faces and dark figures and i, i, i

Guy: what curse..what...what are you talking about...

Sam: Gene are you okay what happened

gene looks at the two and begins to cry as he launches himself into sam and guys fur. 

Gene: I keep seeing faces, and seeing things, thing i don’t understand and I’m scared, (he starts whimpering) I-i’m so scared (gene begins to sob as he shivers and whimpers in fear)

Guy and Sam hug the kid as they try to comfort him

Guy: huh...it’s okay kid...you're okay now...you're safe with us

Sam: yah were here...were here for you

they hold gene who has bruises, and scratch and bite marks on him. they look at eachother who think the same thing, they may not know who attacked gene but they know two things now. 1. this isn’t a normal adventure or mission and 2 they will need to be careful when it comes to gene and going to duckburg. They look at Gene and know its gonna be long night and no one i’ll be sleeping anytime soon. 

Okay so disclaimer: to the people reading this and have seen teh Ducktales Movie they know gene was once a genie and he had to grant some terrible wishes, like the sinking of atlantic and the eruption of a volcano so thats why this chapter is a bit dark.
