✨ Who's your favourite minor character (the more obscure the better!)?

I spent way too long thinking about this, mainly because I keep second guessing what counts as a minor character, but I think it might have to be Ruby, Detritus' partner who we only really see in Moving Pictures. It's implied in the other watch books that she's the reason he joins the watch and she adopts Brick with Detritus but we never actually see her on page which is a shame as I would have liked to see more of her and troll culture in general tbh

Oooh nice choice! For a rarity, my favourite dynamic for Beckett and McKay is platonic - I really like their friendship. Carson doesn't put up with Rodney's shit, and he's firm but he's also.. understanding in a way that most people aren't with Rodney. And everyone needs that friend who doesn't take their shit but also doesn't judge them for being them.

I like to think Rodney learns a lot from Carson about not having to posture and be condescending all the time, and that yes it's actually worth being kind to people for no other reason than it's a nice thing to do. And I like to think Carson learns a lot from Rodney about being more spontaneous and excitable about stuff because sometimes it's fun when things aren't calm and steady all of the time.
