You know it’s really weird being ex Eastern Orthodox in the US or even on American dominated apps because the religion is so far out of the public consciousness that almost nobody understand the experience

There are plenty of people deconstructing their Evangelical Protestant upbringing and plenty of people deconstructing their Catholic upbringing, but there really is no community for deconstructing one’s Eastern Orthodox upbringing.

Except on Reddit but like, then I’d have to use Reddit.
