OUGH!!!

this freaking animatic! it was so good!! i actually went through and took screencaps of my favorite frames because oh my god were there some banging moments. "art sent me" with three as the hero!! everything with dr mensah and murderbot, from the soft pov switch in a conversation to dr mensah grabbing its collar and shaking it around! (go off mensah i absolutely loved that scene, btw). and of course the whole squad with art ;-; this was an absolutely stunning animatic and now i've got the song stuck in my head so cheers for that!!

Buddy Daddies: Episode 1

This is one I’ve been highly anticipating for awhile so let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint.

The premise is pretty simple. Two criminals who live together end up taking care of a four year old girl and shenanigans ensure.

Let’s begin.

Love how pizza delivery is used as a code phrase. And the show immediately starts with an excellent car chase/fight scene. 

These two are great.

Annnnnnd they immediately start bickering. Even more great.

Kazuki apparently sleeps with people to get information. Honestly not even surprised. My word. Rei with long hair looks so good. There’s a cat. 10/10.

The character design is really good in this. I really like it.  

This man just straight up got robbed while gambling.

A four year old running around the city by herself. How has she not died.

okay. wait. So Rei just looks hella different with hair down and hair tied up. Why can’t I look that good doing that. TT

The child is adorable. I would die for her. 

Also I’mma keep mentioning it. Rei is great. Love his design and his personality. It is done so damn well. 

He is willing to kill the kid. I repeat. He will shoot the kid.

The complete absurdity of this show is absolutely amazing.

I continue about Rei. He just shot the window to break it in order to abseil out. He is my favourite character by far so far.

I wonder if they’ve realised that they have technically kidnapped a child. 

“I can’t have a cat, but you can have a kid?” I was waiting for this comment to come up.

Okay. I like it. No wait. I love it. Great characters, great concept, extremely well executed.

I can’t wait for more.

My friend and I just binged all of Stranger Things (finally), and:

1) The entire casting department deserves all the raises. I want to see those kids in everything.

2) How dare you. That was my heart, I needed it. Unacceptable. Now it’s logged down with all these emotions.
