Maybe the execs decided back when season 4 came out to reboot with another series.
I know @sol1056â did a post a few days about DreamWorks execs and their messages within the epilogue. Iâd check that out for some insight into executive decisions and also keep checking her blog for some new insights.Â
What I will say is - Iâm assuming eventually the execs realized the messages in the later seasons as well as the character line-up they decided to embrace didnât jive with audience expectations, a majority of which were based off foreshadowed storylines in Seasons 1 & 2. At what point that happened - Iâm not quite sure.Â
What I can say is - things changed the day Season 5 dropped. The Screen Rant interview also released that day started a different tack with the EPs. It changed their messages and their tone when speaking with the audience.Â
It was also the day ârealâ Shiro returned to the storyline.Â
