EXID's reaction to spending their first holiday together with you

Solji: Christmas

The sun lightly shone through the window as you turned away from it and towards your girlfriend, her eyes were closed peacefully in dreamland. You smiled, letting your finger lightly run down the side of her face. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and she sleepily smiled at you, “good morning baby.”

“Good morning, and Merry Christmas,” you answered, you voice still heavy with sleep as you wrapped your arms around her pulling her closer and nuzzling your nose into her neck.

She gently laughed as she lightly pressed her hand against your head, “Merry Christmas.” Her heart fluttered as she realized it was your first Christmas together. The last couple of years, the two of you decided to be with family instead, but since you both were able to visit them the week before, you two were allowed to spend Christmas together finally. After you were done drowning her in kisses, she quickly glanced at the time. The clock read in red numbers: 7:30 am. She slowly pushed out of bed and against your pull to keep her there, “I’ll start some breakfast.”

As she was finishing up breakfast, you came into the kitchen, automatically wrapping your arms around her waist, “smells good.”

She leaned into your chest, “so do you... So, what did you get me for Christmas?”

“I was supposed to get your something,” you joked, causing her to lightly hit your arm as a pout playfully crossed her face. “I’m just kidding. No need to act all cute. Wait here a moment.” You exited the kitchen, leaving her as she finished up breakfast and slid the food onto two plates. Just as she was setting them up on the table, you voice came from the hallway near-by, “close your eyes.” She rolled her eyes, but still let them slide shut as you rounded the corner, making your way over to her. She was able to hear a bit of fumbling before something cold was placed on her neck. Sliding the hook of the necklace on, you whispered, “there.”

Solji opened her eyes, looking down at the shining locket before turning to you, “this is beautiful.”

“Here, watch,” you said as turned the locket around, twisting a small wind up key. Suddenly, the song the two of you declared as your guy’s song started playing. Your thumb slipped over, opening the locket to reveal a picture of you two on your first date and a music box.

Solji, overcome with emotion, took the locket from your hands and closing it before she pulled you into her arms, pressing her lips against yours as tears filler her eyes. Against your lips, she mumbled, “thank you. It’s wonderful.”

“Only the best for our first Christmas together,” you smiled as you pulled away. “We should eat before opening other gifts though,” you gently laughed, pressing one more kiss on her cheek before sitting down at the table.

She watched you as you finished up your food, her eyes full of love as she imagined doing this for years to come, maybe one day being surrounded by both of your families. With that thought, her heart started to warm up as she gently held onto your hand, “I love you.”

LE: Valentines Day

Hyojin was walking down the street, making her way over to her usual coffee shop. She had tried to get into contact with you, since it was valentines day and the two of you had discussed spending it together, but when the morning was nearing noon, she gave up. Of course, on the entire walk, she couldn’t help the voice in the back of her head, asking why weren’t you answering. Especially passing by a few couples interacting on the way.

Avoiding eye contact, Hyojin made it to the coffee shop. When she made her way to the front of the line, she was about to order her usual when the familiar cashier hit the bell four times calling out, “special order”

Confused, Hyojin stepped away from the counter but then you walked in from the back of the shop, carrying balloons tapped to a coffee cup and a small cake filled with roses. You walked towards her, smiling as you stood across the counter from her, “happy valentines day, baby.”

As the few people in the shop cheered, Hyojin was just speechless as you made your way around the counter to the front of the shop. She quietly followed you as you led her to the usual table the two of you sit at. Once sitting down, you slide the balloon and cake over to her, your smile turning a bit shy. Hyojin just glanced back and forth from the presents to you, “when did you plan this?”

You nervously look away, “I have been planning it for weeks... There’s more too. Are you ready to spend the day with me?”

Hyojin could feel the warmth of excitement flow through her as she nodded, “this is our first valentines day as well, I was worried for a moment that maybe you had change dyer mind on spending it with me.”

“I wouldn’t ever be able to do that to you,” you smiled widely, “get ready for a day full of adventure.”

Her smile matched yours. “I am always ready to spend any of my time with you.”

The two of you laughed before it finally settled in for her, sipping her coffee, that this was also the first holiday in general that the two of you are spending together. Letting her eyes glance up at you as you tried to cut the cake, she knew that she would make every moment of this day last for her. Quickly slipping her phone out of her pocket, she caught a picture of you when you were unaware before asking to take a selfie with you.

Even though the selfie ended up a bit goofy, blurry and your smile was crooked from trying not to laugh, she still made it the lock screen wallpaper of her phone.

Hani: Halloween

“Hey babe, look at what I have,” you said in a jovial voice as you walked into the room she was in. Hanging from your hands were two unrecognizable garments.

Heeyeon looked up from her phone, slightly tilting her head in question, “what is that?”

You let the garments fall from your hands, your finger tips holding the edges of their collars as you shook them, “it’s out halloween costume.” She just stared at the red, white and black clothes that hung from your hands. You held them out towards her, “see? it’s a magician and a bunny.”

“But why? I thought we were going to stay in tonight?”

“Well, um.... yeah about that-”

Heeyeon rolled her eyes, “fine, who is being who?”

“I thought I would let you decide,” you said, making your way over to her and letting her examine the garments closer. Even saying that, you still mostly let the bunny costume hang closer to her than the red and black suit.

She laughed before running a hand through her hair, “I guess I’ll be the bunny then.”

You smiled, letting it fall from your hands and into hers. You sat down next to her, “so would you like to know where we are going tonight?” She nodded. “The girls invited us to a halloween get together. Before you ask about the costumes, they said that if we didn’t show up in a cute couples costume, that they would kick me out and not let me date you.”

“They can’t do that,” Heeyeon said, leaning over and kissing you on the cheek, besides this might be more fun that staying in. Our first halloween as a couple...” Even as she said it, it hit her that this is the first holiday the two of you actually get to spend it together. Staying in would have been fun, but maybe the girls were pushing you two to do more than that. Smiling, Heeyeon took your hands into hers, “let’s do this and make tonight memorable.”

“Every moment with you is memorable to me,” you said, gently kissing her forehead. A shyness ran through her as she played with your fingers. In her mind, her thoughts whispered, I love you, before she picked up the soft white fabric and made her way to the bathroom.

Hyerin: August 23

The two of you started dating two months before after a long friendship. It took a while for the two of you to realize your feelings, but now it was Hyerin’s birthday and as a friend, you used to just text her and show up with a cake at the end of the day. As a couple, you wanted to do more for her on this day as you make your way over to the flower shop, surrounded by the dewey morning.

Hyerin was back at home, just waking up to see the cute birthday message you left her in your texts. A smile playing on her still tired face as she shifted under the covers to get more comfortable as she scrolled through the messages from other friends. Replying to all of them, she finally got to yours but her fingers felt speechless, unsure of what to type. Her heart started to beat faster as she stared at the long message, rereading it over and over again as if the letter you placed before her can formulate into a sentence.

Just as she was about to finally type a simple message, the door bell rang. She threw off the covers and slid off the bed, her body still slow from sleep as it made its way over to the door.

Slightly opening it, she saw you standing there, smiling and time suddenly froze. All at once, she became too away of her appearance, a blush chasing up her neck and onto her cheeks as she started to push the door close, “can you give me a minute?” Her voice felt small. Before you answered, the door slid shut, along with the long before she rushed over to her closet, rummaging through to find anything she could wear.

Shuffling through the pile of clothes she made, you knocked, “is everything alright?”

“Yes! I just- woah! Just need a moment,” she said, slipping on a shirt as she reached for another. Slipping it on, along with some jeans she found, Hyerin began to stuff the clothes back into the closet. A few tries, and soon the doors were shut tight as she was making her way over to the door, unlocking it and opening it, “good morning darling.” She smiled, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek as she took in your appearance. You looked stunning, with a bag of food and flowers dancing from your hands.

“Good morning, and happy birth-” you began to hold out the contact towards her when her closet doors popped open, clothes spilling out. Hyerin covered her face shaking away the embarrassment as you gently laughed, “busy morning I take it.” The bag of food slips form your hand and into hers as she finally moves out of the way to allow you in.

Making your way over to the dining table, you rest the flowers against the wood surface before turning towards Hyerin. She awkwardly smiles, “you could have warned me that you were coming over.”

“And ruin the surprise that I am going to spend the entire day with you,” you pout, making your way over to her and wrapping your arms around her waist.

She froze, confusion spreading over her face, “you're going to spend the day with me? For my birthday?” You nodded. “I thought we were just going to celebrate it as we normally do?”

“I wanted to trademark this as the best first birthday of your we spend as a couple.”

She didn’t even fully think of it like that. Best friends who fell in love, everything just feels natural until the other tries to do something more romantic and causes the others heart to constantly flutter. Her smile turned softer, into one that you absolutely adored before she pressed a kiss on your lips. If this was going o be the first holiday the two of you spend together, it was going to be the best birthday that she would do her best to make it be.

Junghwa: New Years

The two of you have never been close friends. You were an old friend of Hyojin’s and she had met you a couple of times, but there was just something there the last time the two of you met. It was only few days ago, the day after Christmas when Hyojin decided to hold a small after Christmas party to exchange gifts with friends who were away with families on Christmas.

You showed up and sat through the awkward greetings, but throughout the night, the two of you moved closer together and before you knew it, one thing led to another and your lips were suddenly on her.

Through the kiss, there was an emotional wave of feelings that made the two of you unsure, but talking through it over the phone the past few days helped the two of you come to a conclusion.

Now you were on your way over to the New Year’s party as Junghwa’s date and she was pacing her room with outfits spread throughout the room. This sudden stress felt new to her. She didn’t understand why she was so nervous about seeing you, but as another outfit was tossed on her bed, the nerves riled themselves up again.

Hyojin knocked on Junghwa’s door, “hey. Y/N’s here. Want to come down?”

“I-I’m not ready yet.”

Hyojin pushed open the door, shaking her head, “you need to lock yo-” she stopped when she saw the mess before her eyes landed on Junghwa. “Here,” Hyojin reached down into the pile picking up a white blouse and a flow black skirt, “I'll stall them. Finish getting ready.”

As she pulled on her clothes and dabbed on some make up, she couldn’t help asking herself, “isn’t it too soon as a couple to spend a holiday together?” Then she shook her head, “What am I thinking? It’s New Years. We are going to be surrounded by friends. Nothing will be different.”

Running a brush through her hair, she makes her way downstairs, almost bumping into you. “Sorry,” you quickly said, wrapping an arm around her to help her regain her balance.

Her heart beat started to increase as she looked past you, “it’s alright.”

Slowly, you pull away, “shall we go join the other?” Junghwa just nods before following you. Her stomach fills with butterflies as she pushes her hair back and shyly smiles at you. She didn’t know where this relationship would be going, starting on such a short notice, but she new that as the time ticked to the New Year, she would be hoping to remember this feeling of new love for the rest of her life.
