Getting familiar with each other
You could say the introduction was well spent, finally you got to meet the turtle friends that April keeps talking to.
The turtles were genuinely surprised you didn't freak out or pass out as usual people would when meeting a talking, walking ninja turtle. Though they were still quite suspicious until they realized how familiar you were with April.
Seeing April happy meant that you were a non-threat to anyone.
You would confirm the small meeting was a success in your eyes.
Now you sat awkwardly beside April at the edge of the rooftop while the turtles continued to stare at you for a few moments to take you all in.
Or well more specifically Leo and Raph.
You could feel their blue and emerald eyes staring holes into you to see if you would show anything of emotion that you were a threat or anything to make sure April was safe.
"Guys.. stop staring at _____. You're going to make them uncomfortable if you continue like that."
April's voice cut the tension of the two turtles, realising they got caught. You then perk at the mention of your name as you turned your head to the two turtles who seemed to quickly turn their head in embarrassment.
You blinked a few times until you smiled politely, not thinking anything about their gazing stares.
Then you turned back to speak to April to realize she stood up form her spot to talk to Donnie as a certain Orange wearing mask caught your eyes.
Blue ones staring right back at you with a big smile on his face.
He was quick fast, he was way over there now he was rightfully sitting in April's spot.
Though you didn't flinch nor jump at the sudden movement, you smiled back, saying a hello back.
"I know, April told me your guys names."
"Oh, Right. I knew that!"
Mikey chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as he leaned back to give you some space then his stomach growled.
"Man! I can eat a pizza right about now." Mikey whined, placing a three finger hand on his plastron to where his stomach would be.
You tilted your head in confusion at the word pizza.
Silence, that's all you could hear until Mikey sat right up.
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT PIZZA IS?!"
"Dudes! We need to fix this right now!"
Now you were walking underground, somewhere on the train tracks that were completely empty. No trains or no one around as you looked around to where you were. In front of you, the turtles climbed up, helping April up to then Mikey took out his hand for you to grab. You accepted his help, feeling his hand, feeling the fabric of the bandage around his fingers as he grabbed your hand and lifted you up.
Letting out a thank you as you realized there was a whole different area right in front of you.
"Welcome, to our home!" Mikey excitedly chimed out. Arms waving in excitement. You did a 360 to take in everything, a whole sitting area with a little TV that was somewhat plugged into something to make it work.
An arcade machine to keep yourself entertained.
A training dummy that was hanging in the air, a broken stair area in the middle. There were other places to explore but you didn't want to intrude in their home. Even though it was the sewers.
"Sooo, What cha think?" Mikey cheesed a happy smile, waiting for your feedback.
"It's.. spacious. Very cool."
"Of course it's cool! I'll be right back with the pizza!" Mikey then rushes somewhere which you assume was the kitchen. While Mikey was gone, you went over to April who was sitting down and talking to Donnie. The turtle who was wearing the purple mask.
"So! _____. Do you remember anything before you met April?"
"Hm? Umm... no, not really." You lied, trying your best to give normal vibes when you spoke. You then turned to April. "Though after waking up, I was a bit surprised to find myself in April's apartment."
"I would never leave someone, passed out on the street! I felt bad so I took you in." April argued, "Though I do wonder why you were running away? You looked terrified when I found you."
"..." You didn't say anything until Mikey's loud voice called out.
"Here's your first bite of your very first and amazing pizza! that I specifically made." Mikey smiled as he handed you a pizza slice, nodding it to you as you looked at you curiously until you took it from his hand. Mikey then plopped himself in between you and April as April whined, making room for him to sit.
Mikey still had the same smile on his face as he watched you closely as you leaned in to take a bite of the pizza, watching for your reaction.
Your eyes widen in delight as you chewed, the flavours spilling inside your mouth as you moaned in delight as you took another bite.
"I knew you'd like it!" Mikey fist bumped the air as he quickly stood up from his seat.
"Of course they'd like it, It's pizza after all." Raph's ruff voice called out from behind then came to sit on the other side of you while you continued to take a good amount of bites of the pizza. His arm is resting from behind you.
"Woah there doll, the pizza isn't gonna go anywhere."
"It's just so good~" You happily sang, placing a hand on your cheek as your eyes sparkled with enjoyment. Raph shook his head at your reaction then his lips tugged up only slightly.
He then shook out of it as he huffed, leaning over to grab a pizza slice from Mikey who was holding the box in his hands. "Hey!" Mikey shouted angrily as Raph stopped him, taking a bite out of the pizza as Mikey pouted. His arms now crossed against his plastron.
You laughed at their silly antics, glad that you met April's turtle friends who were now your friends.
An unfamiliar voice spoke out from somewhere in the lair causing you to freeze mid action.
