What nice creatures! I sure hope they weren’t made for military warfare
Jumba: 621 always accuses me of having favourite but that’s not true.
Jumba: I love 626 and all the not-626s equally.
Happy Experiment 621 (Chopsuey) day!
Today is the Ālula!
Okay so if the events of Stitch: Experiment 626 are no longer canon, that doesn’t mean portions of it can’t be. Jumba could’ve still sent 621 on field missions to collect DNA with the goal to create another, better replacement, as Reuben has no destructive motivation whatsoever🤣 it does seem like 621 was the prototype for Stitch, and it just took Jumba a long time to perfect what he wanted.
I think it’s possible that when Jumba was arrested immediately after Stitch’s creation, 621 hid and, because he is the prototype, was able to evade capture. What happens to him after though is anybody’s guess. I like to think he’s still out there somewhere, trying to prove himself…or maybe he’s taken a page from Jumba’s book and, like the game, is looking to mutate himself into something bigger and better.
621 really is the eldest neurodivergent child who was never told they were good enough🫠
I of course love the idea of him eventually finding his way to earth, but it’s almost more fun if maybe Gantu and Reuben stumble onto him out there in space—still being a menace, of course—after the events of Leroy and Stitch.
I’m really not looking to get into the Disney fandom but I’ll have to think about this…I love 621 and it hurts my heart that he’s sort of the forgotten cousin.
List of experiments whose names aren't tied to their functions/abilities
Gigi (007) - Named by Mertle, who adopted her believing she was a dog. Lilo originally wanted to name her "Yapper".
Topper (025) - He ended up using his ability to become a Christmas tree topper instead of carrying out his primary function.
Shoe (113) - Lilo said he needed shoes.
Link (251) - Short for "Lincolnstein", a fictional zombie president.
Mary (455)
Yin (501) - Was named this after it was discovered she could work well with Yang.
Yang (502) - Was named this after it was discovered he could work well with Yin.
Derrick (566)
Yaarp (613) - Debatable. I've heard that "yaarp" is a word for a loud noise in Pleakley's language, but this wasn't directly stated or implied in Yaarp's episode and I haven't been able to find anything that confirms it.
Chopsuey (621) - Debatable. The 621 we know from the PS2 game wasn't officially given a real name, and it's not known what kind of 621 would have been in the series if they showed one, nor whether they would have taken elements from the game's canon.
Angel (624) - She's meant to sing like an angel and Stitch sees her as one, but the specific reason behind her name wasn't made clear.
Reuben (625) - Named for the sandwiches he makes, which he wasn't programmed for.
Stitch (626) - Named by Lilo, who adopted him believing he was a dog. The big theory goes that she wanted someone to "stitch" her family back together.
Leroy (629) - Named by Hamsterviel, who deemed the name genius.
I think it's cool that there can be lots of different origins for experiment names! Some of these still relate to their abilities by coincidence!
Hi! I forgot about Tumblr a bit. But here is compensation, an experiment that few people remember!
I liked their weird idea.
In "honor" of the stitch movie and mostly because of @brightcricket24 's art, @cabeludodesenhista and I decided to draw our human version of some expirements! Stitch and Leroy are twins, the two youngest, that keep fighting obv.
Chopsuey is the second youngest in his rebel phase.
Sparky is a Ipad kid, he is witing to Angel finish her call with Jumba so he can play games in her cellphone.
And Angel is their babysitter, who Jumba pays VERY well, and her lil sister Chip!
Kind of a missed opportunity they never put this guy in any of the serie, thus their only appearance was in one of the playstation games. Never played it myself though but I feel like it makes them more of a underated gem :D the more reason for me to draw them.
