CLEVELAND | Browns' Josh Gordon 'humbly' returns after health absence
CLEVELAND — Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has “humbly” returned to the team after an extended absence to deal with his health.
The former Pro Bowler has missed most of the past five seasons for numerous violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He has battled addictions to drugs and alcohol. Gordon was in rehab last year while suspended.
The 27-year-old player issued a statement Saturday thanking the Browns and the NFL “for your patience as I took the time needed to ensure my overall mental and physical health.” Gordon says that to reach “my full potential my primary focus must remain on my sobriety and mental well-being.”
The Browns have remained supportive of Gordon, who has played in just 10 games since 2013 when he led the league with 1,646 yards receiving.
General manager John Dorsey says Gordon will initially participate in meetings and conditioning.

I’m back on Tumblr after almost 6 months! What did i miss?
As always, I have to apologize for my extended absence. The tail ends of my weeks seem to always do a rolly coaster kind of thing when it comes to both level of life's business and how I'm feeling and homework and stuffs (I actually do some of it, I promise!). Thus, Mr. Lahey was a lazy ass the tail end of this week gone, and I didn't have time to even try and prod him for a little bit of anything for you guys. Looking forward, though, I work today (as I did yesterday) and may have time after I get off to come in ad smother you guys with love! ♥
I may try and queue some things up for now and reply as I can (I'm washing clothes, and then I need to dry them, and I have to be awake in, like, under six hours, so I need to shower and get ready for work in the morn). Hope all has been well with you guys!

Write a piece about a character who ends up missing out on something that's an integral (although not necessarily liked) part of their life due to unforeseen complications. They finally get back to it, and find that they have a lot of catching up to do. This could take the form of anything from a character missing a few weeks of school due to sickness, to a character falling into an 1000-year sleep and waking up to find a totally different world.
It feels really good when you get back to school after a long period of time, and people actually missed you, today was a good day. :)
