5- Ji won/ Sung min, Age of Youth
Extra Whip
I might just kiss you. (p2)
Ji-Won knows how to charm grandparents and she knows that unless she pushes Sung-Min directly, he will just go along with her flow. She thinks it is great that his jealous streak is coming out, so she starts flirting whenever he is in sight.
She does it with his grandparents watching while they are walking along the river after going to the nearby market. She flirts with every male vendor until Sung-Min takes her hand and pulls her away. He doesn’t let go and she can’t help but preen.
“I know what you’re doing,” his grandmother teases her as they set out the picnic lunch. “I never thought my grandson would like push and pull.”
Ji-Won smiles and pretends to blush. “I would never try to make him jealous on purpose, Halmeonim.”
“Because you aren’t a girl who tries.” Grandmother laughs and it brings Sung-Min over to them. Ji-Won blatantly kisses his cheek and is about to sit down when he tugs her away from his family.
“What are you doing? You are never this likable.”
“Maybe you should pay better attention.” Ji-Won kisses him and turns to go back when he grabs her hands.
“I am paying attention. You’ve got two numbers in your pocket. Throw them away.”
It is almost too early to play her cards but she let’s her expression turn serious. “Only if you’re serious about me, oppa. I’m not going to waste a good chance because you’re jealous. Prove to me that this is real and I’ll never flirt with another guy again.”
