maybe I like how “normal” they were? I was in a patch where all I wanted was semi normal so? A eye patched former director of a semi fictitious organization; and a ace with a bow who has a family he cares about.

Or maybe it was my over whelming need of a father figure so I just got pulled to the two most stable, least likely to die characters?
