Scared Shitless..

So it was about two summers ago, I was about to leave for a couple weeks to go see my two buddies who live in Utah, Im at the airport when all of a sudden I get a call from my mother. She was absolutely PISSED.. so I try calming her down right away with the classic “ whats the matter mom? why are you freaking out...?” Im thinking that something bad happened within the family.. someone got arrested, my heart was going a hundred miles a minute. Come to find out that the root of the problem was that she had done a little spring cleaning and found my pipe and  stache of weed that I kept in my dresser beside my bed... Now folks im not a “pot head” but I do enjoy relaxing after a long days work and smoking either with my friends or myself with a nice beer. So at first the fireworks were flying.. I thought this is it my life is over she’s gonna kill me. Thankfully after being honest and owning up to the fact that it was my weed and pipe she calmed down and eventually through time she forgave me. Since that fateful day... my mother and I have a completely open relationship and I don’t feel the need to hide or conceal anything from her anymore.

Live Life To The Fullest.

“I live my life with no regrets.” One thing I remembered what my sister said on our way back from a family vacation this summer. 5 days later my sister who has always been one of my role models passed away suddenly on July 22. Although this may be a sad post of one of her selfies, it helps me move on and live my life the way I want to live. Never give up and live life to the fullest.
