I'm gonna use the @fab_campaign shoot to highlight the things that I love about my body in line with day 1 of @emilydiscovers #bopomonth. The #FABCampaign #BOPO shoot from a couple of years ago was a fantastic way for us all to highlight some of the worst words or negative terms that have ever had said about us. I chose the ones that hurt the most but actually each one I have turned into a positive and today I'm gonna tell you a little more about each. 1) FAT - yes I am. This is a FACT. It's also not a negative thing. The word "fat" to me is nothing more than an adjective. It describes me but does not define me. I chose to reclaim the term. It no longer serves as an insult nor does it make me ashamed. The word is merely a word until you allow the word to have some power over you. 2) WORTHLESS - this is one term that I still struggle with today but I do know that it is a term that makes me feel incredibly empowered when I prove my own worth to myself. Instead of allowing my inner demons to be my own sabatouer I try to do little things that reinforce my worth, tangible things which I cannot question.
