I love fabrial science, I think it’s so incredibly cool. I know that Sandersons whole plan is to make the transition from fantasy to science and I just think he’s doing that so well. He obviously loves building really detailed magic systems, and one problem of that is that eventually they don’t feel all that magic anymore. But in this instance that’s like the whole point. I think it’s so cool seeing an industrial revolution happen in real time on roshar, except with a magical resource that has the potential to be infinite (don’t kill all the chasamfiends you guys). Ie not destroy their planet. (Nothing happened in wind and truth to prevent or change this, trust) And I never really felt like fabrials became less magical? It’s just a natural progression of the things we know they can do. Because we are watching these things develop in real time, it feels like we’re making these discoveries alongside navani. Anyways rhythm of war I love you, possibly my favorite stormlight archive book, fabrial science you’re the best. Doomed yuri bonding over the wonder of discovery?? So good. So good.
