Hello and welcome to my blog! I’ll hopefully be talking about everything and anything on here and if only a small portion of people see it or nobody at all, it’s just somewhere for me to brian vomit :) So this post will be all about the products I use on my face everyday/ most days and I just thought it would be cool, and if any of you guys do this too!
So obviously the first thing I do is wash my face with warm water, this allows the pours on your face to open up so when you do use products on them, they will actually work! Now, I am no millionaire, or earn money to buy myself any properly decent products for my face, but the ones I use at the moment are working.
- Lancôme Bi Facil: I used this just before I washed my face to get any of my mascara on that I had on. This is amazing for getting any makeup off, although it is slightly oily. Since this came in a gift, I didn’t buy it, but for a full sized one it costs £11.05
- Charcoal Face Wash: This face wash has been an absolute miracle! I use it every other day since activated charcoal can be quite harsh on your skin. It makes me skin smooth and sorts out my blackheads since this is a big issue for me. I use a generous amount of it on my face, which is already damp, and then I use a small bit of water to spread it over my face. I leave it on for maybe 1-3 minutes before washing it off with warm water. Drying my face with a fannel by gently tapping my face. This product cost me a grand total of £0.99; one thing you will learn about me is I do love a bargain ;)
- Simple Water Boost: Hydrating Gel Cream: Once my face is dry, I add a generous amount of this cream to my face and neck. It’s much like moisturiser, only more moist? Ew, that made me cringe a little bit! What I mean by this, is its sole purpose is to make your skin lock in the moisture it’s holding. My skin is quite dry so I use this everyday. I was given this product as a gift so I didn’t buy it, but you can buy a slightly bigger tube for £3.99.
- Simple Water Boost: Hyrdrating Booster: I only use a small amount of this gel on my nose, especially the small creases by my nostrils, under my eyes and in between my eyebrows. These, for me, are the driest places on my fave and ever since using it, my skin has definitely improved. This was given to me as a gift, but you can buy this at any drug store for £3.99.
- Clinique: dramatically different moisturising gel: Now I’ve been using this product for a couple of years now. It is probably my favourite product that I use because it is just so amazing. I apply a generous amount on my face and neck once the hydrating booster has dried. It doesn’t feel sloppy or oily like some moisturisers, it makes my skin feel smooth and gives it a healthy glow. This product is on the more pricey side, but it does last quite a while, in a drug store it costs £31.00 BUT I only tend to buy new ones in this size and bottle when I go to aiports or when it’s in the sale. It is much cheaper to buy the smaller bottles especially when you’re only seventeen and broke :)
- Clearasil Rapid Action Treatment Cream: So I’ve only just recently started using this product and, I must say, it’s like a gift from God! It’s so easy and quick to use, you just whack it on any growing/ formed/ healing spots and they visibly shrink within 4 hours. Now being a teenager, over the past year my skin has broken out terribly, but having this has made me feel a lot more confident. You can put it over the top of makeup or under makeup and it still works perfectly and I would highly recommend this to anyone. It lasts a couple of months since you only need a small amount each time and for the grand price of £6.86, I’m not complaining.
And that is my morning routine :) I hope you guys found it interesting, and I can’t wait to start uploading more. Please leave me suggestions or message me what I should write about, I can’t wait to chat !
