I'm not running it, but 100% supporting it. The Fae Tales canon ends in August, and September would be a great time for folks to come together and give Fae Tales a really big community send off, and give it some love, whether you've found it lately, or if you were there 9 years ago when it started. This series would never have happened if it wasn't for all of your love in the first place!

It's nearly been a decade of canon Augus and Gwyn and Mosk and Eran, and it'd be great if y'all could make anything - whether it's a poem, or some art, or some fic (even a drabble), an essay, some meta, knitting, etc. the list is endless - and I can promo how amazing you are, and the Faedom Week folks can too! You don't need a Tumblr to participate! And you submit anonymously! :D More at the guidelines here.

This is very short and extremely stupid, but I realized six days had gone by and I didn’t make any dumb meme, and it was unacceptable. So this is my very last minute project for day seven, because Anything Goes!!

An AU where Gwyn actually hears about Augus' disappearance and manages to find him in the Underworlds.

Faedom Week Day 2: “Intimacy”

For today, I was torn between doing this and drawing the scene where Augus was drowning Gwyn. Maybe I chose the easier way, but I’ve always loved these aftercare moments. <3

P.S. (especially to Pia) Here, in Japan, it’s GMT +9. So, I’m ahead of lots of people and that’s the reason why I post early. I know I can post later, but I’m quite a worrier. Haha. Faedom Week is really like Christmas! I’m enjoying works from you all immensely. :D

Faedom Week – Oct. 21st – Oct. 27th

Faedom Week lives! Time to get creative and have fun making things based on the Fae Tales verse by @not-poignant​. Here are the prompts for each day of the event. For information, guidelines, and past submissions, visit the Faedom Week tumblr here.

PROMPTS:

Monday, Day 1: “History” OR “Alternate Universes”

Option 1: History

How does the past affect the characters? Is it the force of tradition and ritual, or a certain historical era? Does someone miss something they’ve lost, or maybe they’re healing from past wounds and finding new beginnings?

Option 2: Alternate Universes

There are infinite parallel universes. What would happen IF... one major choice was changed? Or what if the characters met someone from a different fandom? What if they were humans? Stuffed animals? Pop idols? Be creative - the sky’s the limit!

Tuesday, Day 2: “Intimacy” OR “Song”

Option 1: Intimacy

(noun) “Closeness, an intimate act, especially that involving sexual intercourse.” By popular demand, this prompt is about all things soft and gentle. Are the characters cuddling, exchanging gifts, slow dancing, making love? You decide!

Option 2: Song

For this prompt, let music inspire you. Feel free to choose a song lyric as your title, make a playlist, have a character sing something, etc. If you like, you can instead focus on the heartsong of a character and what it means to them.

Wednesday, Day 3: “Family” OR “Breathless”

Option 1: Family

Time to explore the characters’ relationships with their families. Perhaps someone sees their parents again, some siblings share some moments, or maybe it’s all about found family and the homes that characters create for themselves?

Option 2: Breathless

Rough sex and choking are only the tip of the iceberg. This prompt is to encourage you to let go and give in to your Id – to delve deep into BDSM, kink, and fetish.

Thursday, Day 4: “Green” OR “Under the Influence”

Option 1: Green

This prompt is about flowers, trees, and all things green and living. Feel free to seek inspiration in the Victorian flower language, the Celtic tree zodiac, or anything that grows in the lakes, rivers, and forests!

Option 2: Under the Influence

Maybe someone had one drink too many and hijinks ensued, or maybe the characters tried a new “substance”. What is messing with their grip on reality? This prompt is for anything related to drugs and/or alcohol.

Friday, Day 5: “Nostalgia”

For this day, pick a favorite quote/moment from a past story and work with that, whether it’s meta about why you love it, depicting it as art, rendering it from a different perspective, etc. You can use any of the completed Fae Tales stories.

Saturday, Day 6: Technical Challenge

A call to try something new – be it a new art style, genre, or technique. Build something. Make abstract or surrealist art. Write from a different POV. Any medium accepted (and encouraged)!

Sunday, Day 7: Free Day

If there was a scene you wanted to draw but never got the chance, a story you never got to write, or you’ve always wanted to see Gwyn in a tutu and need the push to create it – this is your chance! This Free Day is for anything made for Faedom Week that doesn’t quite fit the prompts, but you really wanted to make anyway! This is also a chance for late submissions and unfinished work made for Faedom Week.

Honestly I've been sitting on this song for weeks and can't believe that I was able to hold back from positing it! I'm super proud of it!

I'm actually going to be recording a professional quality version of this as my final project in an Audio Sound Design course I'm taking this semester, so stay tuned because in a month or so there will be a much higher quality version to listen to/download for free .

Faedom Week day 6 - Technical Challenge

It’s a pocket Gwyn! Holding a sugar cube (nobody has recognized it yet. But I like my cronch-able sugar cubes brown)! Haven’t done any sculpting (except like once when i made oversized dnd minis bcs i didn’t know how tiny they were supposed to be. the goat was kickass tho) and most was done with the method of let’s see what works. Also the method of forgetting to clean my hands inbetween colors hence he’s a little dirty but I doubt Gwyn would mind. I’d like to dedicate this to Pia for the amazing encouragements they have given me, sometimes featuring a pocket Gwyn. May pocket Gwyn feed you sugar cubes forever.
