Hi, popping in to say I love your analyses and am so so so thankful that there’s SOMEONE who understands characters in Disney movies (and others)
Aren’t you kind! For reading my rambling, and for the compliments! Thank you!

It’s a little comforting to know that the 20s are a universal experience on different sides of the globe
I'm glad I can be relatable 😆
a 20s support group should be mandatory once everyone has their 20th birthday I think
My dear have you read The Night Circus?? Bc I just finished it and I fear I am ruined forever. No book will ever compare.
I have! I read it last summer, and have been enjoying your live tweeting of your read :)
I have The Starless Sea on my TBR shelf but haven’t been in the mood for her sort of thing since I got it.
I think people who like Night Circus often also like Caraval, but I have not read it.
Alright... is TMA worth starting from the beginning five years behind? Bc it’s been sitting in my “to listen” library for months now and I keep seeing it pop up everywhere.
In short: YES.
Long answer: I want to stress that by genre, this podcast is Eldritch Horror and Tragedy, and the showrunners have stressed multiple times that it will not have a happy ending. So if that's not something you're comfortable with, take care of yourself and maybe pass on this on. If you're still interested...it's so worth catch up on.
I've summarized the set-up of this show before. It has an intricately woven narrative with a diverse cast of characters who all get really satisfying arcs (although not necessarily pleasant ones) and with lovely relationship dynamics and lots of fun villains, and as much as this is a creepy, spooky horror story where no character is safe, The Magnus Archives is never entirely bleak. The current and final season is the grimmest yet, but even the most recent episode takes a moment to state that it would be impossible to survive without people you trust and loved ones who give a reason to go on.
Also: if you do listen, please God, listen in order and don't skip the trailers. The trailers have important scenes that aren't in the seasons themselves. And you absolutely have to start at season 1, please don't start with season 5, I'm begging you.
Oh my gosh, my housemate in Hogwarts Mystery is so ridiculous too
