CBS Withdraws Copyright Takedown Over Stephen Colbert Local Access Clip
CBS has withdrawn its copyright takedown notices related to Stephen Colbert’s appearance on Michigan’s public-access show Only in Monroe. The move follows criticism of its efforts to remove online uploads of the segment. While CBS maintains ownership rights over the studio-funded production, it has chosen to allow broader public access. The case highlights ongoing debates over copyright enforcement, fair use, and the balance between corporate ownership and public interest in digital media.
need a nonbinary Uzi fic where, while possessing(?) Braiden, they alter his memories of them from 'girl who sits next to me' to 'kid who sits next to me'
like, just them doing smth to get back at this guy who keeps forgetting they even exist by stealing his body and going thru his memories, only to find out he does know they exist and is just being a massive douche on purpose, but his memories and perceptive of them are 'weird but cis girl' and altering that detail specifically.
and bc he's actually somewhat-popular, once Uzi alters his memories and he starts gendering them correctly, all the other popular kids kinda just follow his lead. bc like, Braiden's not a weird emo nobody, and he doesn't rlly seem to care abt anyone/thing, so it must be important if even he noticed

A copyright thing I’ve been dealing with behind the scenes
I figured this would get resolved by now, but because this company decided to escalate, I have no choice but to go public about this situation.
Long story short, a music distribution company claimed a portion of my Hazbin Hotel video where I share four lines from the finale song. Only those four lines are presented, and are used in the context of criticism/analysis.
Since my video falls under fair use, I filed a dispute. It was rejected. I disputed again, noting how only a small portion of the song was used and the context it was used in. And now here we are.
The situation has escalated into a potential takedown path with a strike attached. That’s the part people don’t understand until it happens to them. You can be making the most transformative commentary video and still get pushed into this situation. The question becomes: do you protect your channel first, or do you keep fighting on principle?
Obviously, I’m not encouraging a dogpile. Don’t harass these people. What I’m doing here is documenting what happened. Why? Because this is a good example of how easily this shit can escalate against content creators even when what you did falls under fair use.
