Au where Captain marvel has a fake leg and has been the wizard since the 40.
It’s a simple robbery. Only it’s got magic and Batman has lost/ had all his gear tuned into worms. Meanwhile the robber is boasting about his new weapon that even Batman can’t stop.
From the back Marvel swoops into the building and lands next to Batman.
In a sudden movement Batman swipes marvels leg out from him and throws it at the escaping robber and hits him.
Everyone is horrified
Marvel is flat on his back just letting it sink in. He shrugs, stands back up and summons his leg full Jeti style then re attaches it.
Marvel ecstatically to Batman: see! It’s super handy right!
Even with Marvels protest and many assurances the media still caught wind of Batman “attacking” a disabled person then using their leg as a weapon. It took a lot of press reassurances and Marvel doing many interviews to quell the public out rage.
