Sunflora Evolution Design! It only took me half a year, but after the feedback I got from here and a couple places off of tumblr I finally drew another attempt at a sunflora evolution! I like this one the most, so far :)

Stats n abilities for the fellow nerds under the cut

HP: 115 (+40) -- Atk: 75 (+0) -- Def: 75 (+20) Spa: 135 (+30) -- Spd: 95 (+10) -- Spe: 20 (-10)

Abilities: Slow start, Solar Power, Drought (Hidden Ability)

Slow start is a fun choice, because that let's it basically guarantee outspeeding everyone in trick room, and it doesn't care about losing half its attack

Fakemontober day 5: Early route rodent evolution

She brings her kids into battle and becomes an impromptu snake

I really struggled with this one when first making this #fakemon for the Sanova region. We went through idea after idea and finally I took a while away from it and thought about the mananagaal and how striking it is.

What’s this? Arbok has evolved into Nohtyp! Really happy with how this one came out :)

Abilities: Intimidate, Shed Skin (Hidden: Merciless)

Bonus: Realized I gave Nohtyp a killer jawline and had to draw this

Meet Caindoell, The Grave Robber Pokémon (Kane-doo-ell)

After a heist gone wrong, this pokemon stalks city streets looking to trick passersby out of their food and valuables. It distracts its targets with its chatter, then uses its tail to snatch its prize.

For abilities, I'm thinking Pickpocket (crazy that theivul doesn't get it normally) and a signature ability called Smooth Talker, which gives its sound based moves a 10% chance to confuse its targets. It would keep Stakeout as a hidden ability.

I'm also going to give it a signature move called Sleight of Hand, which is a special version of Thief but also base 70. Along with letting it learn Uproar, Chatter, Round, Echoed Voice, Disarming Voice, Noble Roar, Alluring Voice, and a new sound-based ghost type move called Eerie Echo (echoed voice but ghost type)

If you can't see the evolution method, Thievul must use Thief (which I spelled wrong in the picture) and then faint without switching out. I also amend that it has to be lvl 30 plus because I think having a mon with a 505 bst pokemon at minimum lvl 18 is kind of busted.

If it isn't obvious, I was really disappointed when Thievul released, and it sucked.

If I was going to animate a battle sprite for it, I'd have it dig in its fur for a big nugget, toss it up and down, put it back and then clench and unclench it's tail hand, in-between that, it would nod its head up and down and twitch it's ears.
