Been quite sometime since I uploaded pictures of foods that I cooked. ⠀⠀ With the current situation and being locked down, I think it’s time to share some dishes that I prepared and enjoyed. ⠀⠀ So here’s the first dish Falafel wrap with guacamole dip. Guacamole dip - Grind together Avocado Lemon Salt Coriander Small piece of garlic ⠀⠀ Falafel patties: Soaked and dried chickpeas Coriander Parsley Onion Garlic Cumin Salt Pepper Sesame seeds Grind all these and make them to patties. Bake or fry them. ⠀⠀ Wrap: Wheat / all purpose flour Salt Water ⠀⠀ Sautéed veggies of choice. Pickled beetroot and jalapeños. Chicken (optional). I used soya chunks ⠀⠀ Wrap everything together along with hummus or mayonnaise. ⠀⠀ I used homemade hummus and vegan mayo. I was delirious from hunger when I finally got to FalafeLicious. A hockey game, a beer and no dinner is foolish. I had to rectify my rookie mistake immediately!

This sh*t is the REAL DEAL. Holy goodness gracious. You get a bowl full of crispy-on-the-outside, herby-warm-goodness-on-the-inside falafel. But if that isn’t enough, then they say, ‘go fill your bowl with as much salad as you want.’ And the salad bar is overflowing with pickled beetroot, marinated aubergine, sweet carrot salad and about a million other perfect vegetables. This place is not for lovers of small plates, but the flavours are fresh and SO delicious!

The Verdict: Arrive hungry. Eat so much you’ll wish your bed were closer. Bring a friend to rub your belly. Find a bench to lay down on. Commence belly rub.
