Falling Guillotine. We need more ornaments for it, the one that we have is not fun. I read somewhere that it was nerfed, but i don't care

Falling Guillotine (x)
Falling Guillotine was the first Sword I ever cared about.
In March 2020, Swords finally saw a massive overhaul to how they functioned in game. There were a number of major changes to how swords functioned and it all boiled down to the introduction of the energy system. Previously, all actions performed with a sword consumed ammo. Additionally, light attacks didn’t loop infinitely (they functioned like the Hunter Arcstrider Super). This was largely spurred on by the slow decline in usefulness of Swords in the sandbox, and served to bring them back to fun, hack and slashy relevance.
The introduction of the energy system addressed four key areas of swordplay.
Guarding now doesn’t consume ammo and is far more efficient. It now uses energy and so long as you have energy will reduce a huge amount of incoming damage
Light attacks do not use energy, and now loop infinitely.
Heavy attacks do use energy. They are more powerful when your energy is full, and much less powerful when not. This helped increase the opportunity for mixing and matching light and heavy attacks for more interesting combo potential
The final area, and one less acknowledged is that swords now bypassed elemental shields. They have since become a devastating method of circumventing shielded combatants when Match Game modifiers are active.
This also brought with it a huge opportunity for new ability rolls which helped deepen the repertoire of potential for Swords.
Of swords, however, Falling Guillotine is king. Simple as that. If you were unlucky enough to not acquire the weapon in Season 11 (aka. Season of Arrivals (aka. The Season that Never Ended)), then keep an eye out for it. Rolling with Whirlwind Blade and Tireless Blade makes this an unstoppable damage machine. Where (at least for me) it came to acquiring weapons like The Mountaintop or Izanagi’s Burden, it took me a little while to fully understand what made these weapons so good. However, Guillotine proves itself from day dot and will fundamentally change how you approach Strikes, Raids and other PvE activities.
I GOT THE BIG SWORD
I know I have like, this whole unique armor set and weapons I designed for Lexy, but it’s still fun to draw the in-game armor from time to time,
anyway I’m glad to have Dark-Drinker back in the game in some form
Me: ah yeah that new sword; Falling Guillotine is the weapon I want Most right now
Destiny: did you say Temptation’s Hook??? Here!!! Have like THREE Temptation’s Hooks!!!
