Falling Trees.
I'm totally on board for falling trees being able to harm you in Medieval Dynasty, it's part of the charm of the game but they could have been a little kinder about the damage falling trees which procede to defy the laws of physics deal. Don't get me wrong I'm sure my villagers will forever tell the story of the headman who cut down a tree only for it to vibrate aggressively against the ground for 3 seconds before launching both itself and him several hundred feet into the air. A journey he miraculously survived. Unfortunately he landed, bruised, disoriented, over encumbered by logs and weilding only an axe, next to a bear which promptly ate him. A legend which will surely live for ages but the lost progress is still fairly annoying
Twinkies the chapter is literally almost done but I can't post it. I live on the east coast of Oregon and we had a horrible icy storm come in. All the power lines cut off so I have no data on my phone or Wi-Fi on my laptop. (My Wi-Fi here is good but it's limited.) And on my way home from work three trees fell down... Blocking the road. We were ok but still scary. So at the time the chapter will be late and I am so sorry guys. Hopefully it will be out in a week.
Stay safe and please look out for falling trees. They are no joke!

Hurriance Florence could leave destruction in its wake. Here’s are some tips for what to do if a tree falls on your house. Secure your home, call for help, file an insurance claim
Here’s what do if a tree (or anything else) damages your home during Hurricane Florence:
1. Immediately secure yourself and your family
This may seem like a no-brainer, but in the heat of the moment, it’s easy to prioritize a gaping hole in your home over a raging storm outside. Think about what may have been damaged — any gas or electrical lines? — and take the necessary steps to shut off utilities. If possible, block off areas that received damage as soon as possible, and move to a more secure area of the home.
2. Call for help
During the storm, and after it passes, 911 operators will likely be inundated with phone calls, said Jennifer Timmons, spokeswoman for the Columbia Police Department. But it’s still worth a shot. Keep your local non-emergency line handy — it’s a good back-up if 911 is busy, Timmons said.
3. Contact insurance company
Contact your home insurance company after the storm passes. In most cases, tree removal is already covered. But there’s a huge difference between a tree that is dead or alive, said Dylan Copeland, an associate agent with a Midlands insurance company. A living tree that falls and damages property is considered “an act of God,” Copeland said, while a dead tree that falls and damages property is considered negligence. So it’s best to spend some time taking care of dead or overgrown trees on your property ahead of time.
4. Make plans for repairs
After contacting insurance and filing a claim, the next step is to fix the damage. The insurance agency may have preferred contractors it works with regularly. But if you’re looking to do business with someone else, work that out with the insurance agent. Most agencies will accept, Copeland said.
Point number 3 is very important. Damage from a dead tree falling is considered homeowner negligence -- “you knew the tree was dead, so you should have removed it, therefore we won’t cover you for damage you could have prevented” -- but living trees are “Acts of God.” But not all insurance policies cover “Acts of God.” Typically, damage due to wind, rain, or hail is covered under standard homeowners policies, but damage due to earthquakes, volcanoes, and floods generally isn't. So if that living tree fell due to wind (was literally blown over), the damage might be covered, but if it fell because rising water caused the soil around it to erode, your insurance company may consider that as flood damage, and not cover it.
We had a tree fall on our mobile home which is in my mother's name and she passed away in March. The mortgage company won't fix it so we have to move and let them have the place back. We have 3 kids , 4 dogs and 2 cat and we are living in a camper right now.
Hey guys, I know that there are always a lot of gofundme pages, but this one is really important to me. One of my good friends had a tree fall onto their home and now they are unable to safely live inside. The ceiling might collapse and they can’t sleep in it. So there are six animals and five people sleeping in a camper that is haphazardly wired with electricity.
My friend is having a really hard time getting a loan from any bank because she’s so young and does not have a long enough work history and she’s doing all she can, but her home is essentially destroyed with all the water leakage the damaged roof is causing and I know it would mean a lot to her, and to me, if this could get boosted.
I really want to help my friend, so please signal boost this so they can get out of the camper and into a safe home, it would really mean a lot guys!!
Well this isn’t good....
A tree just fell outside the house, sounding like it might have hit it! Mom and I lept up, trying to see out. Nice way to get up in the morning.
The rain came faster than expected and the temperature fell slower. We had a long night of 32F and rain, on top of days of rainy weather before. Now it is finally turning to sleet. And windy as the temperature falls.
So....
No six inches of snow they had forecast yesterday afternoon. We are still going to have frigid temperatures, 9F tomorrow night even. And all this icy mess and soaked ground and wind means lots of falling trees and limbs...
And there went something else falling!!!!!!
Wish us luck not getting smacked!
And geez, I have to go give Pest his medicine when neither of us will want to leave our houses....
