I finally did it, Chapter 1 of my fic Falling Feather is officially out. Its short but I assure you chapter 2 is longer and will be updated likely tomorrow or Tuesday!

So, Artfight may be over, but I still have some attacks I put on there before to show! Like this one of friend of the blog @fallingfeatherart‘s character Monarai!

While she's a great character and design, I'd be lying if I said I didn't pick this one because she was easiest to draw. Tho, then I complicated it for myself by trying my new watercolor-type technique, because I inflict this on myself, but I think they came out neat!

Besides, that easy-to-draw nature does mean she has a fun, distinctive design and a striking silhouette, so there's that! Gotta love chaotic wacky characters with immense cosmic powers! No really you gotta, it's a law now!

Red Pearls Fun-Facts!

Hawkflower was originally going to be named Hawkstripe but it felt too close to Bright’s moms name to be comfy so I changed it literally last minute. I have unused drafts calling him Hawkstripe.

I have “special additions” planned for Ravenwind, Willowthorn, and possibly Smithy and Scrap.

Briarspots has been in love with Smokestripe since they were apprentices.

Addershine and Leafleg were good friends as apprentices, but Leafleg’s treatment of Grayfeather caused a huge rift between the two.

Willowthorn has met Smithy

Brackenclaw will be the last of his family to die

Willowthorn had a very brief crush on Brackenclaw when he was first assigned to her, but that quickly gave way to respect. To this day she wants to impress him.
