Ever since the Gala, and probably a little bit before then, Elias has had one thing on his mind. Well, a few things. But this one was at the forefront.  He had never thought himself a romantic, and he especially never thought he’d ever consider marriage. But one day, he looked at Casey, stared at her for a good few moments and he knew, he wanted to be married to her. After that the thought was there, constantly.  This is usually something he’d go to Darrow about, but he doesn’t know how much the man knows about diamonds, and while Elias has some idea, he’s never bought an engagement ring before. Fallon seems like exactly the type to help him get into it all.  He’s in Fallons apartment, sitting at the kitchen island, feeding Birdie banana slices, waiting for his sister to bring him a cup of coffee. When she finally shows back up in front of him, he takes it, wraps his hands around the mug “so there’s something I want to run by you,” he says, casual, as if he’s not ecstatic at the idea on the inside.
