Do any of Kafka’s feelings sort of transfer over in some way and Tiny mentally labels the two as Kafka’s bonded mates or is Tiny possibly just neutral on them at best?
and forgive if my memory on your headcanons and aus is a bit rusty but, Ai if i remember correctly is the sort of in-between brain(?) that mediates between tiny and Kafka’s desires in the kaiju form right?
if Ai does still matter as a hc for you, got interesting thoughts about him to share within the context of Hisakaf?
and how do you think Mina feelings about Kafka application for the third divison’s would be affected by everything?

Ai is essentially the personality for Kafka's kaiju form and a byproduct to Tiny merging with the himbo. Similar personality to the Monster Sweeper but a bit more blunt. You can what Kafka's is also his. That includes mates i.e Hikari and Isao.
Both didn't know what to think of this alternate personality. He may be a kaiju but Ai is also Kafka. Plus this side was thankfully honest about important details when it comes to Tiny. Like how the larva is the highest in the pecking order with the himbo's body but prefers to be a silent observer that loathes kaiju.
The little bugger was also affected by Kafka's love for the Shinomiya family. He has never felt such powerful positive emotions so it influenced Tiny somewhat. The larva already felt awkward upon learning the position our beloved himbo is in. It's these feelings which sort of grounds him and give Kafka's way to the entire thing a chance.
There's still shenanigans tied to Tiny's emotional change. One chaos being Riot Mode acting similar to a docile yet friendly wolf around them. Another is forcing the himbo straight to Isao's location after the Ant No. 9 was defeated. He knew it was a fake and the Commander was in danger. The intervention saves Isao but No. 2 weapon is still lost, memories somewhat jumbled alongside the man now being unable to use a kaiju fiber suit.
Kafka works with the Monster Sweepers part time so Reno remains involved! You can say Ichikawa was shellshocked to learn the himbo is married to the two most influential people in the DF. Or for them to entrust him to keep an eye on Kafka when they can't.
Kikoru is also told as the kaijufication falls down into the important family matter section. She's definitely mixed about the whole thing, especially Ai. The young Shinomiya does give the alter ego a chance like she did Kafka.
Narumi absolutely blurted out "When the hell did you two get hitched with him???!". (They signed a wedding certificate because the three wanted to save the event once Kikoru came back from America.) Mina needed a minute to compute the entire thing. She definitely questions Kafka once it becomes apparent he was transferring over to the Third Division.
The Vice Captain also has a private interrogation for the himbo too. Soshiro still opens up once realizing the honest comedy relief Kafka is. Mina takes longer but at least texts him since it was required.
Isao and Hikari's status amongst the Defense Force was enough for them to have some sway. Kafka still had some restrictions during his time with the First. Hasegawa mainly being in charge of him when he doesn't have labs or combat training against Isao. There is solace with visits from his mates even if limited early on.
Kafka's good behavior and willingness to help them understand was what gave him more freedom. Eventually transferring to the Third Division with restrictions. He wasn't allowed to transform or reveal his identity to the new recruits unless authorized.
If Kafka does go a bit kaiju before someone, he has an excuse ready. He is the wielder of Weapon No. 8 which allows the bearer to physically manifest partial kaiju traits. These alterations granting him greater healing, speed or strength.
Kaiju No. 8 is still at large but the samples taken from one particular clash was enough to make the Number Weapon. That's the cover story. Kafka eventually got authorization to tell the Rookies only for 10 to ruin said chance.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. The variations for how good PC is at dancing were something that struck me as both completely unnecessary and yet absolutely going into the game haha. I always feel like it helps round out a character to figure out or be able to decide what they're only average or actually bad at, and while the stat bars are there to represent that for the big stuff, why not do it for the little things too, right?
