Here's an evolution for ya guys! When fusing Chummer with an item I'm calling a Sea Dog's bone, you get Scurvy Dog!

Now this may throw some of ya for a loop, Why did the shark man become a feral mutt? Well, that's because I directly based it on a Japanese myth called the Umi Inu, or a Sea dog. (Hell, in debating whether or not to make him a classic yokai!)

Given the umi inu is an aquatic dog, baby sharks are called pups, and dog fish are sharks, I figured making it an evolution to our weakest shark yokai was fitting!

Scurvy Dog is an A rank of the Slippery tribe. He's a water attribute, and has the soultimate of: undertow, underdog! Where he attacks a single target from below for massive damage

Yo-kai Inspiration

I explained in my bare bones Cryptid Clock post that my fan-kai were mainly based off of mythology and urban folklore surrounding cryptids and how I think they could be incorporated into the world of Yo-Kai Watch.

Mothmin is a pretty blatant take on the Mothman and his power to attract the supernatural, alluded to as he is the force that leads Camilla to the Yo-Kai Watch C

Minitaur is putting a spin on a Minotaur and what if a cow wanted to be one with all their might. Fighting for that dream or anything else

Qalli is a Qallupilluit derived from Inuit Mythology and could be the result of what exactly happens when children are taken by the icy seas, or what’s in them.

If anyone has Ideas on folklore that can be yo-kai please let me know! :D
