Im sorry for asking, its probably personal and none of my business, but Im a little worried. Does anybody know what happened to @phoen1xr0se? I don’t want to spam her mailbox or anything in case its just a normal hiatus but i just realized I havent seen her on my dash in weeks and her account says her last update was six weeks ago… I just want to be sure shes okay.

I definitely don't disagree with the idea that people 23 and younger are more conservative in regards to sex than they think they are, but I definitely disagree that 30-50 year olds are being essentially persecuted by this younger group, especially by teenagers.

The idea that kids or teens are calling anyone who they view as an adult a pedophile because they watch kids shows? Given the history of fandom, I would like to know how the adults are engaging with the show? What kind of content are the adult fans making?

Most of this "puritanical teenagers" bullshit is coming from the vaspider fandom mom vomit where kids and teens fairly don't want to see sexualized art in a space made for them.

And it's bullshit, because yes there's a lot of conservative views dominating the mainstream, but it's sick to shift blame from a Christian based government to--*checks notes*

When I was 19, I had a whole big concern about “What happens when I have to give up fandom? How can I be in fandom and be an adult?”

I think there’s like something to be said about the rampant misogyny in a lot of fandom spaces and the strict standards for adult women and stuff. But by fucking god I wish they’d be said by anyone other than the “white women who ignore racism and condone child porn” club
