Interested in the overlap between my two fandoms:
Do you like Jane Austen/classic literature & Asian dramas?
I like both Jane Austen/classic lit & Asian dramas
I like only Jane Austen/classic literature
I like only Asian dramas
I don't like either

What’s up new bestie!?
It always cracks me up how folks fandoms often align. Like I wouldn’t expect Downton people to also be Star Trek people but we often are.
In fact there was a delightful session of random brainstorming for a Downton au that takes place on DS9 that I participated in long long long ago.
Why hello to you too new bestie! :)
Yes it really is, but I think it makes a lot of sense especially with Downton and Trek. Ensemble cast, lots of worldbuilding, a world that feels somewhat familiar but not too familiar either, hierarchies ...
Funnily enough, I had this odd conversation about my Crowbarrow AU with one of my dearest fandom friends: How would Thomas react if the Duke grew a beard? Would he find it dashingly handsome or would he go like please remove the carpet from your face I can't see you? And she went, well there's this old sci fi show my dad liked and there was this one scene where these two characters who used to be a couple meet again and the guy has a beard now and ... of course she was talking about Riker and Deanna.
And just five minutes ago my beloved co-author @nonepizzawithleftglitter said one of our OCs – Charles Blake's father – has "Admiral Paris vibes" apropos nothing. Maybe the fact they still have Lt Ayala (of all people) as a profile pic while we're nearly 100.000 words into our Downton fic gives a clue as to why.
So yeah, Downton / Trek overlap is so real. And I'm here for it.
I'm not a crossovers person at all, but I can see a Downton on DS9 or alternatively, DS9 doing a period piece whoops the accidental time travel wormhole of interdimensional time travel has misplaced us episode in Downton, working. Tell me more.
I want to make an Ace Attorney/Deltarune fan game but it’s so hard to find fandom overlap
The reason I’m looking for that is I don’t know what to do for Nick/Edgeworth/Maya’s dark world design!
If anyone out there know of artists familiar with Mercedes Lackey's Heralds of Valdemar universe who are taking commissions---PLEASE send their info my way.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to a comparative analysis of the american musical “Hamilton” and the french tv-show “Kaamelott”
(English speakers who see this, go watch Kaamelott, it’s the best french TV show ever made and there are subs on youtube !)
Me, staring at a picture of a frog and a snake on my dash, knowing the type of content I follow people for, trying to figure out if it’s a Good Omens reference, a Sanders Sides reference, or just a picture of a frog and a snake:
Every time I see someone talk about how angry but well-dressed Jiang Cheng is, I think of Caranthir, living his best life being a rich, surly dwarf-friend in Thargelion.
It probably does not help that my nickname for Jiang Cheng the whole time I was watching The Untamed was Jiang Carnistir.
in the comments of the ben 10 fanfiction seeing castlevania and voltron pfps, like, hello fellow degenerates of the same flavor i am (i jest, i jest, i just think fandom overlap is funny sometimes)
