genuinely I think it’s very important that before the Seekers & Soldier leave, Thaisha gives Hal a piece of paper—or better yet, a druidically inscribed thin sheet of metal—saying,
I, Thaisha Lloy, do hereby declare that my babydaddy Halandil Fang can do whatever the fuck he wants in the name of the Lloy family.
And also maybe Julien gives him a paper saying,
I, Sir Julien Davinos, do hereby declare on behalf of my cousin and liege-lady Lady Aranessa Royce, that her brother-in-law Halandil Fang can do whatever the fuck he wants in the name of House Royce.
