Contact Ability Introduction~!
It's time to learn about Contact Abilities! It's been a while since I posted something relevant...
Contact Abilities are special Copy Abilities that, unlike other Copy Abilities, requires an item to activate rather than copy something. These abilities act differently than normal copy abilities in general, as they adapt to the user’s capabilities! This includes for people who already have a copy ability attuned to them - if the user is attuned to a copy ability, using one will overrun it. It tends to be that the Contact Ability will take whatever normal Copy Ability was attuned in consideration as they adapt to the user (this means that yes, fusions exist for all Contact Abilities, but only with normal Copy Abilities, not other Contact Abilities or Super Abilities). Attuning to one of these three abilities will grant you a free slot (one puffball can only attune to two copy abilities, so using a Contact Ability will not affect the slot placement).
These abilities have different specialties and different gimmicks. No matter how different one’s moveset is, if the Contact Ability used is the same they will all have generally the same theme.

Technician
Masters of technology, robotics, and mechanics! Those holding this ability are interested in science. Weapons and creations are their bread and butter, and they will obsess over it in a curious way. Be very careful of their gadgets, when they aren’t friendly they can sic it on you as their newest test subject or punching bag. Technician ability users celebrate: creation, creativity, intelligence, and equality to technological beings Technician ability users loathe: simplicity, inability to understand others’ ideas, destruction, and inequality Gained via the Adaptor Chip
Kabuki
Dancers with an illusive vibe! With the powers brought from ancient times, these quiet artists are lonely, yet have their own finicky solidarity. Their will-o-wisps cover anything and make them as if they were something else. Like a sleeping lion, disturbing their seldom peace is a death wish, as they may or may not be able to drive you crazy with ruining your conception of what’s real or not… Kabuki ability users celebrate: individuality, peace, being reliant on self, and art Kabuki ability users loathe: chaos, any disturbance to their peace, having to rely on others, and being shackled Gained via the Delusional Scroll
Hypernova
Flowered and supportive fellas! The Miracle Fruit’s power turned them into powerful mages that amplifies the greatest strengths of others or even their own. The huge burden has turned them into careful, tiptoeing puffballs that do not wish to abuse such great power. Elegant yet concerned, they may not look like it, but they are a walking nuke of many colors for a reason. Hypernova ability users celebrate: carefulness, understanding, self-preservation, and teamwork Hypernova ability users loathe: rashness, misuse of powers, disharmony, and inability of self-control Gained via the Miracle Fruit
I've been trying to make this post for a while, and I suppose with the drought of content, this is the best time to do so. Please enjoy this while I will be dying in exam next week ;')

Happy New Year from Technician Uprising AU, as a reward for surviving one more year, have a peek to the future! I made this thing in a day and I have absolutely no fear :)
ANYWAYS, this was a concept that came up to me one afternoon. It stuck so hard that I wasn't able to pick up a short nap that same afternoon. My goal was to basically make a mode/form that would partially carry elements of the Battleship Halberd but still using Robobot Armor's body as a base rather than the opposite!
I also do not want to do fanmade modes ever again
The reference sheet of this design is down below, for those who are interested in challenging themselves to redraw it. Tag me so I can see what you come up with! (it also has free lore)
Once again, Happy New Year, and technically, Happy New Fear :) We hope to traumatize more children next year
Guide to Technician Ability Modes - Sword Mode
"I guess you can say I did make the cut!"
Dual-wielding? Why not? When all you have is a pair of swords, everything goes! Use Power Beam Saber to slice down opponents! You can combine those swords into one for much simpler, quieter, and accurate swordplay too, with the cost of reduced damage.
Weapon Information:
The Virtual Twin Sabers consists of a pair of laser swords that are twice Kirby's height, somewhat mimicking Robobot Armor's Sword Mode weapons. They are, like most other weapons from the Technician ability, are light, however they can still harm others freely. They can be combined into a single sword by stacking one over the other. The laser part of the sword actually radiates some heat, so it is better off not to touch it.
Skill List:
Available to All Power Beam Saber - Slashes forward with a beam blade. Can be comboed.
Dual-Handed Stance Edging Cavort - Dances around with the swords, sending two slashes at the same time at the same direction the blades are facing while jumping back and forth. This move requires precision and starts off sluggish without proper training. Combine Blades - Merges the swords together into a singular sword, changing the current stance into the one-handed stance.
One-Handed Stance Edging Dash - Rushes forward before sending a small diagonal cut, without emitting sound or leaving a mark. It deals damage after a few seconds with the cut and sound appearing. This move requires precision and starts off sluggish without proper training. Separate Blades - Separates back the single sword into a pair, changing the current stance into the dual-handed stance.
Note: -This mode's stance ALWAYS starts with dual-handed stance. -Ability Modes that Kirby has may differ from Robobot Armor in terms of skillsets and weaponry, as both are considered separate

Guide to Technician Ability Modes - Prelude: Foreword
Oh hey, new section. Part of the AUs new features including the fact that the helmet is now not completely useless after all, so in a similar vein as Robobot Armor, it has several ability modes up its sleeve! The main difference between Kirby's Technician ability and Robobot Armor's weaponry system is that Kirby has more technical skills and he has more mode variations (yes, this means exclusive new modes that aren't even supposed to be there will appear), as his system constantly evolves alongside him more often that not. Sure the damage might not be at par as Robobot, but variety is a spice of life, and if anything, this lets Kirby to become a swiss army knife of sorts and make up gimmicky moves that confuse opponents to his advantage. I guess he's more of a specialist.
This page will be basically a prelude, as well as showing you links to each mode, so expect this to be updated a lot.

"This ability is born from sheer curiosity of the Nullari who tries to replicate bonds to strengthen their kind, using DNA matching and potential-based analysis to create a optimized troop. Unfortunately, bonds are not something you can replicate with any type of hi-tech. However, the puffballs can use the chip to gain a Contact Ability which lets them to become gadgeteering geniuses, or pair it with a companion to increase its effectivity — exactly the very intended use of these chips! Each puffball has different skillsets optimized by their speciality and interests from their chip, so who knows what kind of combinations or unique powers will come out?"
