It was late in the evening with the two inside the recently-claimed cave. The campfire crackled with embers puffing up into the air, but other than that and the subtle noises he can hear from Bakugou’s cave, the night remained silent for the sleeping child next to him, who was seemingly troubled by an unpleasant dream. Deku gently stroked Eri’s hair as she slept next to him to settle the turmoils in her dream, and once he was convinced that she was fast asleep he pulled out rolled-up papers from out his bag.

The rain that night really smeared a lot of the paper’s written records. Had he been more prepared that night back in Musutafu, Deku could’ve escaped with these still in perfectly good shape. Now he has to struggle deciphering whatever he can make out from them, jotting down what he can into a journal in an effort to learn more about Eri and what those weird alchemist cults were even up to with the others like her.

Others like her... There were other children there, too... Others he could have freed, but was unable to. It stirred that feeling in his heart again, the very feeling which was the key to his ‘true calling’, the feeling which drove him to begin his adventures...

So far, all he’s been able to decipher were bits about other creatures they were stemming hybrids from, and from the looks of it, those captured creatures are probably sealed off away from the public. But Eri’s the only successful subject who survived out of the other hybrids with the same blood before their source ‘expired’.

... Which means that Eri is the only one left who shares the blood of a now-extinct species of dragons.

Bio:

An artificial creation born from alchemy. Eri’s special blood-ties to an extinct dragon species made her an irreplaceable key for the organization she hails from, resulting in spending her whole life as a captive suffering from experiments. One incident during experimentation has led to her magic being forcibly locked away, and so Eri is incapable of performing magic on her own, not unless this seal is broken or taken away.

An incident occurred in the middle of her transfer to a new facility where the transportation was attacked by someone. It’s because of this that Eri was able to escape.

Fun Facts:

Eri’s dragon species, vindryjas, are dragons supposedly akin to that of an Asian dragon (ie. elongated bodies, sometimes depicted with fur/feathers). They’re rumored to be peacemakers, sovereigns of the natural order, and guardians of designated spiritual lands. They’re the only dragons with the ability to use Time Magic, which explains why stepping into their domain sometimes feel as though time passes differently there.

Other than Time Magic, they’re also prominently bound to using Fire and Light Magic. They’re even capable of firing beams of pure light and heat from their mouths outside of fire breathing.

It’s said that fully grown vindryjas are capable of bringing retribution to an entire kingdom by annihilating it in one full sweep.
