Playing with my war-object ocs proportions! Here's a very rough estimation of their sizes below, created from HeightComparison.com:
Most civilian objects are small, around 4ft-5ft-ish. The tallest living objects would be elementals, who can come around average human height. Refits have a wide range of sizes, from 3ft up to 20ft for both civilians, workers, and low/mid-rank war-objects. The largest refits, the Monoliths, can be up to 42ft. Relics can come between human size, or if refitted, over 50ft. The largest living object ever refitted, a project worked on by the combined efforts of allied relics and objects during the Relic War, is Flammagenitus at 68ft.
See size conversion from feet to centimeters in my article, Biology of Living Objects
Size affects how objects need materials for repairs and revivals. The larger the object, the higher the material cost. War-objects are prioritized for most revivals during times of war. Monoliths are expensive to refit and revive, all thanks to massive amounts of material used to refit them. They are restricted to one revival for emergencies. After that, they are considered a loss, and their remains are donated to their kingdoms' civilians and war-objects revival efforts.

Living object Facial Expressions!
Might clean this up for my World Avil wiki.
Not much to say here on this, but I like having more detailed expressions for my object ocs. Their eyes are large and expressive! Kind of cute!
Some notes: Living objects tend to change the shape of their pupils for their expressions. Slightly cat-like while content, large round shapes for excitement, slits for anger and rage, and shock or horror will cause the shine of their eyes to center and expand inside their pupil. Expression creases are created by ichor pits around the eyes and mouth. These ichor pits are usually microscopic but can increase in size for these expressions. The primary function of these pits is for breathing in oxygen and for hearing.
Sleep is sleep. Ichoridic stasis is a kind of hibernation, usually seen in newly revived living objects recovering from death. Complete burnout is terrifying. Burnout is a painful event when a living object overexerts their powers, leading to rapid magical leak and overheating. Not a good way to go!
Lazarus Taxa. These images are recreations of formally extinct "mortal" fossils found around the Mundane Realm. What a strange species, either object or relic...
Sightings of these are debated among historians.

Update on Pyroblast the War-Torch (Paintbrush II fanart)
I sketched out their facial and head anatomy. I like a naturalistic style with my object characters, so I added a slight curve on Pyroblast's head. I also gave them a fuller pompadour bristle style, too! Details below!
Menathrenna and her spring-chicken running under the shattered moon over the sands of Journod.
I just celebrated my birthday yesterday! I really wanted to post this drawing of Menathrenna yesterday, but it took a bit longer to complete!
Thank you, everyone, for following me and my art! I am grateful for your support! Thank you!
